Cleveland Browns vs. Cincinnati Bengals Same-Game Parlay picks and predictions for their Week 18 AFC North matchup. Handicapper John Hyslop has a 3-leg Same Game Parlay at +135 odds for this one.

Cleveland Browns vs. Cincinnati Bengals Same-Game Parlay: Making a Game That Doesn't Really Matter Count

They say there's no such thing as a meaningless NFL game but maybe they haven't considered this game. It literally means nothing. The Cleveland Browns are cooked (as usual) and the Cincinnati Bengals are heading to bigger and better things. It full-on wouldn't even matter if they didn't play this game. Literally, nothing would change. Nobody would even notice. But they are playing this game and for some of us, it could be the only one on television. For those people, you have to bet it. That's your only option here. We don't make the rules.

Browns vs. Bengals Same-Game Parlay Picks

Under 47.5

I don't want to bet an under. Nobody with a real pulse wants to do that. But I'm not an idiot. One great way to ruin a day would be to take an over in a Case Keenum vs Brandon Allen game. On top of that, it's going to be like 36 degrees with 18 mph winds. Nobody even wants to be on the field much less dancing in the end zones. I bet this ends up being a boring "hand the ball off and watch him run into his linesman's back" type game. They don't almost score 50 in those games.

Bengals Team Total Over 10.5

I don't even know how I got here to 10.5 but people score 11 points in the NFL all the time (sometimes). The thing is, I think the Bengals will score at least two touchdowns in this game. If not, then one touchdown and two field goals. The wind will be an issue but it's not hurricane wind. We're not talking New England-Buffalo from a couple of weeks ago. Even with Brandon Allen at quarterback and everyone sitting, it's not crazy to think the Bengals score 13 points or so in this game.

Browns Team Total Over 11.5

What just happened here? Did we just take an under and then take both teams' totals over? Yes, we did and in the process, we made an unwatchable game all of the sudden watchable. We're geniuses. I would have gone lower with this one but the lowest you can go is 11.5 for the Browns. Still, there is no way the Bengals' defense will be "up" for this one so a couple of drives ending up in the end zone isn't crazy. Especially with the way the Browns run the ball. This game will probably end 16-13 and it will be the most exciting 16-13 game we've ever witnessed because of this parlay. That's crazy.
