Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys Prediction: Back Ezekiel Elliott
Philadelphia Eagles vs. Dallas Cowboys Prediction: Back Ezekiel Elliott
This matchup between two NFC East division foes, who fortunately for both fan bases will be making the postseason, is scheduled for Saturday night in Philadelphia. However there's actually not much to play for in this game for either side, so I expect a lot of players sitting out and for both game plans to be quite vanilla. Both teams are locked in for wild card berths and nobody wants to risk injury before the playoffs. I'm going to take this angle to heart when I analyze this game from a betting perspective.

Ezekiel Elliott player props
Look into rushing attempts (over), rushing yards (over), or anytime touchdown (+100) prop bets for Ezekiel Elliott. To shorten the game and allow the clock to continue to run, it will require the teams to lean heavily on their respective offensive lines and running games. I think Kellen Moore, the offensive coordinator of the Cowboys, will feed Elliott the ball early and often so he will have ample opportunity to hit these marks. To top that off, there are a couple of significant contract incentives for the star running back as we head into the final game of the year so he will be motivated to have a productive showing. Additionally, there is not a big risk of a split time share since Tony Pollard is nursing injuries.
Game total: Under 43.5 points
The Cowboys possess one of the top offenses in the league and the Eagles have the top rushing offense in the league. But I think scoring will take a back seat on Saturday night in the blistering cold outside on the field at Lincoln Financial. I like the under in this spot as both teams will be looking to finish the game unscathed. This will be an interesting game to watch because I do think a lot of yards will be given up by both teams -- it's the red zone execution where I envision the teams to struggle. So let's hope for a lot of field goal attempts and turnovers!
