Jerrick McKinnon (+600)
I'm sharing this first because these odds are insane for the usage that McKinnon could be in line for on Sunday night. Darrell Williams is battling a toe injury and he's expected to play on Sunday night but McKinnon has opened some eyes of late in Kansas City. Clyde-Edwards Helaire is out so McKinnon is likely to be the second option out of the backfield. He scored in the last game for the Chiefs. He had 8 touches and produced 50 yards! The Steelers allowed the second-most rushing yards to running backs and the sixth-mot rushing touchdowns to the position. McKinnon has playoff experience and he's a shifty pass-catching back that plays right into the wheelhouse of Andy Reid. I love this pick!
Diontae Johnson (+220)
Johnson is the best weapon for the Steelers. He is sixth in the NFL in red-zone targets this season. Big Ben loves throwing it to Johnson. He had double-digit targets in 13 of 17 games. He's scored the most receiving touchdowns on the season for Pittsburgh and the Chiefs allowed 19 wide receiving scores on the season. That was the fifth-most in the NFL. For what it's worth he scored when these two teams squared off. It's rare we get a number one target over +200 odds. Therefore, we're all over it on Sunday night!
Mecole Hardman (+375)
Hardman has had a disappointing season but that could all flip here in the playoffs. Hardman recorded eight receptions on 11 targets for 103 yards in the Chiefs' last game of the season. Tyreek Hill was hobbled for the majority of the game, so Hardman stepped into the big-play role in the Kansas City offense. Hill was visibly in pain and if he ends up reinjuring his heel or is limited whatsoever it was apparent that Hardman will be quite active in the Chiefs passing game. The Steelers passing defense has been much better than tits rushing but with such a lopsided spread and with the expectation of the Chiefs hanging possibly four or more scores on the Steelers it's difficult to find the value for the Chiefs. I think this is one spot worth taking a shot again with Hardman!
