Van Jefferson (+260)
The Cardinals have not been able to slow down wide receivers for the entire second half of the season. Overshadowed by the addition of Odell Beckham, Jefferson has still played over 90 percent of snaps as the Rams run 3-wide among the most in the NFL. The Cardinals allowed a league-high 26 scores to opposing wide receivers, four more than the next worst team! For what it's worth Van scored in each game against the Cardinals earlier this season.
Odell Beckham Jr. (+160)
I know I just talked about how Jefferson is overshadowed by this man but all he's done since joining the Rams is produce. He's scored in five of the last seven games with the Rams this season. In a perfect world, both he and Van score on Monday night but at least one of them will and we will profit. Eighty percent of the Rams' touchdowns come through the air, and 75% of the TDs allowed by the Cards' defense are via the pass. I have more faith in the Rams offense at home and I'm expecting both teams to be throwing quite often on Monday night.
Zach Ertz (+260)
The Rams allow the most yards per short pass among playoff teams, something that fits into the wheelhouse of Ertz. He has seen an end zone target in three straight games and a red zone target in five straight. Ertz has received multiple red zone targets in three of those five games. Since Hopkins has been out, Ertz has emerged as Kyler Murray's favorite target. He has averaged 11 targets per game since Hopkins' injury. These looks haven't translated into touchdowns but that is likely to change on Monday night. The Rams have one of the best run-stopping units in the NFL and I expect them to be ahead in the game on Monday night, forcing the Cardinals to throw. Let's finally cash an Ertz touchdown on Monday night!
Cooper Kupp to Score 2 (+380)
I thought about this one long and hard and we're locking this one in. It just makes sense. I really don't love betting a guy to score two touchdowns at these odds but it works for this situation. Kupp is -125 at Bet365 and there's just no value there. If Stafford refuses to look at Jefferson there's a great chance of this one cashing. If all three Rams wide receivers just score once then we're still up about a half a unit. I just told you how awful the Cardinals have been keeping wide receivers out of the end zone. I'll repeat the fact that 80% of the Rams' touchdowns come through the air, and 75% of the TDs allowed by the Cards' defense are via the pass. Kupp finished with fewer than 90 receiving yards on just one occasion in the regular season. He scored 16 total touchdowns on the season and multiple touchdowns in five games. Arizona's defense has been horrible to close out the season, allowing 354 total yards per game over their past five, and opponents are scoring on 53% of their possessions. In Week 14 at Arizona, Kupp logged a 50% target share, his highest rate of the season. That included five red zone targets and two end zone targets. In Week 4 against Arizona, he saw 31.7% of the Rams targets -- his highest in any Rams loss this season. The worst-case scenario is the Cardinals game plan to slow down Kupp but then I'll expect Jefferson and OBJ to capitalize. If you ask me for my top bet out of the three Rams wide receivers it's Van and simpy because of the odds. Let's sweep the board though!
