I keep on hearing how the Packers would have rather got anyone other than the 49ers as a first-round matchup. I'm just not buying it. Before losing a meaningless Week 18 game at the Lions, the Packers racked up an average of 34.6 points per game in their five prior (all wins).
Not only does no team come in hotter in the NFC, but no team has a player as motivated as Rodgers to put his critics to bed with an opening game route to start these playoffs.
Leg 2: Half/Full Time double - Packers/Packers
As you could've guessed from Leg #1, I'm heavy on the Packers in this one. This bet calls for them not only to win the game but be up at halftime, money lines already juiced to just that. In addition to Rodgers' MVP-like performances down the backstretch of the season, the Pack also draw an opposing quarterback injured once again. This time a shoulder, we all saw how Baker Mayfield responded down the stretch with a similar injury.
Leg 3: Davante Adams 2+ Touchdowns
If Rodgers does secure yet another MVP award this season, Adams will be largely to thank. In 16 games played this season, Adams racked up 1,553 yards and brought in 11 touchdown passes, and is one of the only long-term trusted WRs remaining on this roster. Add in the fact over the last seven games of the season, Adams had three two-touchdown games, and look for this to seal our three-legger as the Pack roll to the NFC Championship game.
