Cincinnati Bengals vs. Tennessee Titans Prediction: Ride this Ja'Marr Chase Prop
We’re on a play that I expect to be popular. Sometimes you just have to ride the chalk and we’re not trying to outsmart the system this week. If they give us a good prop, we take it. No questions asked.

Jamarr Chase o75.5 receiving yards (-115 @ DK) (Bet $115 to win $100)
Ja’Marr Chase has been the best offensive rookie this season, no doubt about it. The stud rookie caught 81 balls for 1455 yards and 13 touchdowns. Those are actual video game numbers and it was his first year doing it, just incredible. We’re on his yardage this weekend and boy do I feel good about this one. Chase has averaged over 133 receiving yards per game over the last month and now gets himself one of the best matchups in the NFL. The Titans allow the second-most yards to wide receivers only trailing the Vikings. Including last week's playoff game, Chase is averaging 87.2 yards per game so getting a double-digit discount with a great matchup feels like a no-brainer.
Titans have allowed 15 receivers to eclipse this number and many of them don’t hold a candle to the talent that Chase possesses. I was expecting this number to open in the 80’s all week. I could see this game going either way and part of me likes the Bengals chance at winning this game as an underdog. Regardless of who wins, I think Chase should hit this number and Bengals should be passing throughout. Derrick Henry likely being back should be a good thing for Bengals passing overs. Titans outperformed expectations without him but are surely a better team with him in the lineup. If Tennessee goes up early we could have the Burrow show.
We’re in late January so you know I’m making sure to check the weather of all of these games we’re betting on. It will be a little chilly but nearly zero wind so Burrow has no excuse not to hit Chase right in the numbers. Sometimes what I like to do is make my own projections and write them down before the books release props. I did that and had this in the mid 80’s but even crazier is some of the other projection sites have Chase slotted for a game over 100 yards. Getting a number in the 70’s feels like a no-brainer.
This is a bet that seems to be trending upward. Although we look at Chase's season as a whole and we’re very impressed he has entered another gear as of late. Cincinnati has really made him the focus of the offense as he has seen 10+ targets in three of his last four games. With his route tree if he sees that type of volume it will be hard to imagine him not hitting this for us. Chase is a big play waiting to happen and it wouldn’t surprise me one bit to see him take out a big chunk of our prop on just one play. If by the time you're reading this, this number has ballooned up into the mid 80’s I really think his longest reception of 24.5 also holds value against a Titans team that allows big plays. I’ll track this at 1u to be safe but if you wanted to lay 1.5u I wouldn’t blame you.
