Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Los Angeles Rams Player Prop Picks: Trust the Stafford and Kupp Connection
Tom Brady and the Buccaneers play host to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday for the divisional round. For this one, I'm all over this prop parlay to cash in on.

Cooper Kupp 90+ receiving yards + Matthew Stafford 230+ passing yards (-140 @ DK) (Bet $140 to win $100)
Cooper Kupp has been nothing short of miraculous this year. The man has 90+ receiving yards in 16/18 games with the only two misses coming against Arizona. Against Tampa Bay earlier in the year we saw Kupp gather 96 yards and reel in two touchdowns. Matthew Stafford has also had himself a very nice year, he has 230+ passing yards in 16 of 18 games. Stafford against Tampa earlier in the season threw for 343 yards. So we’re taking two legs of a prop that both have nearly a 90% hit rate and have already hit vs their opponent. I’ll take that in a game likely to have a passing game script.
Tampa Bay enters this game as three point favorites and why shouldn’t they? It’s Tom Brady in the playoffs, do the math. I don’t see either team blowing the other out so I imagine an instant classic type of shootout. The 48.5 total leads me to believe that Vegas agrees and we’ll see both the Rams and Bucs offense slinging it around. Brady has already cemented himself as the GOAT but he appears to remain hungry and it would not shock me to see Tampa win this game. If that’s the case then we will see the Rams offense slinging throughout all four quarters and especially letting it fly late in the game.Â
Kupp has such a knack for getting open, he appears matchup proof. Tampa Bay has the top rush defense in the NFL so I expect McVay to implement a very pass-heavy game plan for Sunday. Cam Akers has looked phenomenal rushing back from injury but they will not beat the Bucs with runs up the middle, you’ve gotta let it fly. This game projects to have minimal wind and to be played in 50+ degree weather. Neither team should have an issue throwing the ball and I’ll gladly take the top two candidates for offensive player of the year.Â
I’ll add a little token as to why I went with this bet outside of the obvious. If you’re reading this you likely bet on sports and you know as well as I do how the sportsbooks get better at projecting lines throughout the season. With that knowledge being known, the best way to have an edge in your bets is to find two alternative lines and put them together. There is still decent values with some single bets but it’s 90% perfect lines right now that appear to be coin tosses. None of the original lines right now on the books have 90% hit rates and if they do they’re probably -200 or higher.  I really like this bet but we’re only going to lay 1u here and be responsible so we can enjoy the game for what it is, and it should be a great one.
