ANALYSIS

NFL Division Round Saturday Player Props: Top Anytime TD Scorer Bets

The NFL playoffs are off to an amazing start! Wild Card weekend was great for us as we crushed our anytime touchdown picks. Now the Divisional Round is here and kicks off with two matchups first on Saturday and we're going to try to capitalize on the opportunity to smash more anytime touchdown picks for all of the action. We capped off Wild Card weekend with some good wins and we nailed our banker pick of the weekend. The highlight came from our Jerrick McKinnon pick at +600! It's not going to be easy to find winners like that the rest of the way but I will do my best for you all here.

We have managed to continue to build on our profit from the start of the season and with the NFL playoffs upon us, we have plenty of more opportunities to keep cashing in anytime touchdown winners! With a full season of information to digest we have plenty of firepower to back up our anytime touchdown bets, continuing with Saturday's Divisional Round games. Before we get into it though, I'm going to remind you of who I picked before the playoffs to reach the Super Bowl. My picks are the Green Bay Packers and the Buffalo Bills! Let's keep things rolling on Saturday first though!

The Tennessee Titans host the Cincinnati Bengals at 4:30 pm ET and on Saturday night we have an NFC matchup in primetime when the Green Bay Packers battle the San Francisco 49ers. I've narrowed down the best options for anytime touchdown scorers for you here for the two NFL Division round games on Saturday. When we started this season I stated how the analysis I've done will always support our anytime touchdown picks. We're not just throwing noodles at the wall and seeing if they stick! Let's get to the best anytime touchdown picks for the Division-Round Saturday games! Best of luck if you tail!

Division Round Saturday Top Anytime TD Bets

Anthony Firkser (+460)

I'd be lying if I told you I was excited for this Titans vs. Bengals game for anytime touchdown picks. This one is shaping up as my least favorite of any game we'll see during the NFL playoffs for anytime touchdown scorers. Due in large part to the Bengals running its offense at the third-slowest pace of play and the Titans likelihood of running the ball often with the return of the King, Derrick Henry. So I'm going for some longshot anytime touchdowns starting with Firkser. He closed out the season scoring in back to weeks. Geoff Swaim is the Titan's number 1 tight end but he spends most of his snaps blocking. Swaim ran eight routes in Week 18, compared to Firkser's 14. Firkser will be the primary receiving tight end for the Titans this week against a Bengals' defense that allowed the fourth-most catches to the position. When down near the goal line, the Titans love running play action to Henry and targetting their tight ends in the back of the end zone. This is an easy call at these odds!

Tee Higgins (+210)

Our next pick is Tee. I flip-flopped between him and Boyd for the Bengals but landed on Higgins. Mike Vrabel comes from the school of Bill Bellichick. The Titans will likely play two deep safeties to deal with Ja'Marr Chase. Tennessee boasts two of the top 10 safeties in the NFL. The Bengals love to take shots down the field and that's where Higgins comes in. Chase will likely be able to get his still but Higgins will garner more one-on-one matchups that Burrow will look to take advantage of. Tee is capable of huge outputs like Chase. Though he was out-snapped this season by Boyd he still managed to lead the Bengals in red zone targets this season. Cincinnati has had at least three wide receivers on the field 89% of the time, the league's second-highest rate so we shouldn't be worried about opportunity on Saturday. The Titans allowed the second-most catches, yards, and fourth-most touchdowns to wide receivers this season. Boyd has scored in four straight and Chase is a beast but I love our chances with Higgins Saturday afternoon!

Julio Jones (+280)

Derrick Henry, Julio Jones, and A.J. Brown will all be on the field at the same time. Ryan Tannehill performs much better with that trio on the field -- something that has only happened on 11% of Tennessee's plays this season. Tannehill is averaging 9.4 yards per attempt with all three on the field, compared to just 5.2 yards with those three all off the field -- which has happened on 24.6% of his dropbacks! The Titans now face a Bengals defense that allows a completion on 48.8% of deep passes, the worst among the remaining playoff teams. Julio found the end zone for the first time all season in Week 18 granted he did score in Seattle but the refs..ah you already know. Give me one of the greatest receivers of all time at these odds in a game the Titans should come out victorious.

Randall Cobb (+300)

I'm going with three Packers here because I don't think there's much value on any 49er except for George Kittle if you can get him over +200. Cobb was activated off of Injured Reserve on Thursday. Did you know Cobb was the last wide receiver to score three touchdowns in a playoff game? Well, he is and his connection with Rodgers is extremely strong. Packers wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling is doubtful to play setting the stage for Cobb to play in all three-wide receivers sets. The 49ers run a zone-heavy defensive scheme, aligning in man only 32.5% of the time which is the third-lowest in the NFL. Cobb is a savvy veteran who will likely find his spots and he and Rodgers will take advantage. Despite missing 7 games, Cobb finished tied for third on the Packers with 14 red zone targets this season.

Allen Lazard (+230)

I know what you're thinking, we're just betting all of the Packers wide receivers here what's the fun in that? The fun is that Aaron Rodgers has thrown multiple touchdowns in seven straight games and in 14 of his last 15. We can and will easily connect on two of these picks and possibly all three. The 49ers boast a solid run defense and the Packers love to throw anywhere in the red zone. Lazard is tied with the aforementioned Cobb with 14 red zone targets for the Packers. Only Tom Brady and Josh Allen accounted for more pass attempts than Rodgers in the red zone this season. Lazard is quietly becoming one of the best blocking wide receivers in the NFL. His ability to line up all over at wide receiver and even in a tight end-like look occasionally makes him usable for a variety of routes in the Packers offense. He scored in four of the Packers' last five games and going back further, in seven out of ten.

Davante Adams to Score 2 (+420)

Earlier this season I said I'm all aboard the Rodgers and Adams "last dance" train! This is one locomotive I wish would never come to an end. We're going back to them again on Saturday night. The Packers have scored 75% of their touchdowns through the air, which is the third-highest in the NFL. In his last four playoff games, Adams has seen 35 catches for 431 yards and four touchdowns. That includes a 9-catch, 138-yard game against the 49ers in 2019. It's no secret that Adams torched these same 49ers in Week 3 for 12 catches, 132 yards, and a touchdown. Adams has seen multiple red zone targets in four straight Packer wins and in six of their last seven wins. In three of the last six weeks of the season that Adams played in entirely, he scored twice. We have cashed this one multiple times already and this has all the making of Adams and Rodgers to connect all night in a smash spot. The 49ers have allowed the fifth-most yards on passes thrown outside the numbers this season, which is exactly where Davante Adams lives! For complete transparency, I locked in an Adams touchdown and Packers win at (+145) at FanDuel when the lines opened on Tuesday morning!
