NFL Divisional Round YOLO: Betting on the Quarterbacks

I woke up this morning feeling terrible. Not because I was sick, not because there were no games to bet today, but because I only gave out one NFL YOLO parlay for this weekend. Obviously, that one has a 0% chance of losing, but if we're being honest, we need more. We're talking the NFL playoffs here people. We need to kick it up a notch. Luckily for all of us, that I recognized the mistake and immediately went to FanDuel. What happened after that will just be another story people tell when they're strolling the halls of the Gambling Hall of Fame talking about amazing parlays that hit.

Joe Burrow 325+ Passing Yards (+225)

It's about time we make one of these with just quarterbacks. These guys get no attention whatsoever and I feel like that should stop. If we're being honest (we are), I think this Burrow kid is going to throw the ball all over the yard Saturday. Tennessee can't cover wide receivers. Scientific fact. On the season, only one team in the entire NFL gave up more receptions and receiving yards to the wide receiver position than the Titans. That's bad. Burrow is flushed with talent at the receiver position and the Bengals could even play from behind in this one. This could be the best starting leg to any parlay ever made.

Tom Brady 325+ Passing Yards (+194)

Did you even see what I did here? Only the most savy of bettors would notice so I'll explain. I set this thing up so that if Burrow gets home, then we get to go to bed Saturday night knowing we are moving on to Sunday with our parlay intact. And if he doesn't hit (he will), then we can just start a new one for Sunday no harm, no foul. That's just gambling people. In terms of this bet, Brady did this eight times including once against the Rams. He actually went for 432 that day so if you want to bump this up to 350+, nobody is going to be mad at you.

Josh Allen 325+ Passing Yards (+235)

This is beautiful because all we have to do is win two bets and we're in the final game. You can't get that kind of a rush doing anything else people. This the one that is kind of questionable but I think it will get home. This is Josh Allen we're talking about. Now he only did this three times this season but he did go over 300 yards seven times including last week. He only threw the ball 25 times last week people. I think this one turns into an all-time points fest and when it does, Allen will end up going over 325 passing yards.

Patrick Mahomes 325+ Passing Yards (+240)

This one is about as good as it gets. The idea that anyone would let you bet Patrick Mahomes over 325 passing yards for +240 in a shootout is crazy. The guy just went for 404 last week and the other team wasn't even trying. Maybe they were but it didn't look like it. Mahomes has gone over 400 three times this season and another time he finished with 397. We only need 325 here. If I had to guess right now (I actually do), I'd say this one cashes before Allen so we really won't ever sweat it. Just an amazing find by me here. No other way to say it.
