Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs Los Angeles Rams Player Prop Pick: Expect Tom Brady to Throw

If today's games are as good as yesterday's boy are we in for a treat. We actually thought the Sunday games were going to be better so let's find out today as we go to Tampa Bay, the home of the defending Super Bowl champs as they try to repeat taking on the Los Angeles Rams. These teams already played once this year back in LA and the Rams blew out Tampa 34-24 but really a garbage time touchdown late made it closer than it really was.

The winner of this game should be the favorite to win the Super Bowl with the Packers out. The NFC road goes through Tampa or LA and they are the best teams left and clearly the favorite to win the Super Bowl (we feel at least).  Let's take a look at the first game and see what happened.  First off this game was back in September (in LA) and a lot has changed including injuries and new faces.

Chris Godwin, Robert Woods, Desean Jackson, Ronald Jones are all gone for this one, and Von Miller and Eric Weddle are new additions that will affect this game. In the first game, the Rams had a lot to prove as the Bucs were the champs, and the Rams were doubted with all their changes. The Bucs forgot how to run in that game but the Rams do have one of the best run defenses in the NFL. They may not hold Tampa to 35 rushing yards again but they were the sixth-best this year and you saw yesterday the Bengals couldn't run on the Titans (as we predicted). Well, the Bucs even with playoff Lenny back won't run on them today.

You ask who was the number one passing offense this year? It was Tom Brady and the Bucs of course. They averaged 308 yards passing a game and in the first matchup, Brady threw for 411 yards because they had to make a comeback after being down all game. What will happen today we don't know but we do know this would you rather run against Aaron Donald,  Von Miller, and Leonard Floyd or are you going to do what Arizona didn't and attack Terell Burges, Nick Scott, and Eric Weddle?

Tom Brady's passing yards prop is 288.5 as we do this writeup at FanDuel. Remember, to always shop around for the best number especially with props.  Last week Brady threw for 271 but let's not forget the game was over and he wasn't going to throw it around up 31-0 in the fourth.

This year Brady threw for a whopping 5,316 yards over 17 games which is 312.7 a game. He threw for over 400 three times this year, four times over 363 yards, and two more games over 300. If the Rams are going to beat the Bucs today then expect Brady to go down swinging or in this case throwing.

As we mentioned earlier playoff  Lenny is back and he is a receiver as much as a runner. The man caught 69 balls in only 14 games this year (almost five a game). The Bucs will not win running the ball they have to throw to win and we fully expect Brady to take advantage of the depleted secondary, something the Cardinals didn't do last week.

The Bucs are a fast-paced offense and they lead the league throwing the ball almost 66%  of the time using their running backs as receivers as they had over 100 completions out of the backfield this year. This team wants to score (10 games over 30 points) and they have the weapons to do it. We are trusting the GOAT to be upset about the first game and win or lose he wants the ball in his hands and if he is losing again we know what he's going to do and that's throw the ball. Take the over 288.5 today and let's watch Brady do what he's done all year, throw the ball, and hopefully get his seasonal average of 312 one more time for us.
