Los Angeles Rams vs. San Francisco 49ers NFC Championship Best Bets: Trust the Rams and Cooper Kupp

The NFC West Trilogy. Kyle Shanahan and the 49ers have dominated this matchup not only this year but in the last few seasons. From a stylistic standpoint, the way San Francisco runs their offense really puts the Rams in bad situations. With that being said, the 49ers offense only manufactured 6 points last week, albeit in cold weather, and their most important players in Garoppolo and Samuel are dealing with lingering injuries. If the Rams get out to a quick start in this one, I don't envision San Francisco is able to duplicate what they did in the final game of the regular season coming back from a 14 point deficit and winning in overtime. I could be in the minority here, but if the game script plays out as expected I see the Rams separating from the 49ers pretty easily here. That is not a knock on San Francisco as a team or on their defense, it's more of respect for what the Rams have been able to do offensively, meshing their weapons and stars really well in the last couple of games. This team looks primed for another invitation to the Super Bowl where they will play the winner of the Bengals vs. Chiefs game.

Cooper Kupp Anytime TD (-140) (Bet $140 to Win $100)

I've been on this player prop all playoff long and it's 2 for 2, so why stop now? The guy is unguardable. He may come out with a slow start or he may get bracketed in coverage all game, but Stafford will always look his way and Kupp possesses some of the surest hands in football. Even with the emergence of Odell Beckham and the return of Cam Akers, Kupp is still the #1 option in the red zone for the Rams. He's already scored on this same defense in the regular season, I see him reaching pay dirt again.

Rams 1H -2.5 (-120) (Bet $120 to Win $100)

Sean McVay's scripted plays have been doing really well in the last quarter of the season and into the playoffs. They've gotten hot at the right time, and are peaking as they enter the NFC Championship and push for another berth to the Super Bowl. This is the Rams team everyone expected when they signed and traded for the big stars like Matthew Stafford, Jalen Ramsey, Von Miller, Odell Beckham, and others. This bet is also leveraging the ineptitude of the San Francisco offense. Last week, they beat the Packers with the offense only manufacturing 6 points for the whole game. The 49ers will have to score touchdowns and not field goals in this game -- conditions will be perfect inside a dome and the Rams offense has been on fire.
