Kansas City Chiefs vs. Cincinnati Bengals AFC Championship Best Bet: Believe in the Bengals Offense
The AFC Championship will take place on Sunday as the Cincinnati Bengals will battle it out with the Kansas City Chiefs with both of these teams' seasons on the line. These two teams played earlier in the season in a game that was a pure joy to watch.

The Chiefs jumped out to a two-touchdown lead a couple of times in the first half, but the Bengals were not phased as they were able to mount a comeback and take a fourth-quarter lead. Patrick Mahomes tied things up, but Joe Burrow was able to lead a late-game winning field goal drive in a game that turned the season around for the Bengals, ultimately making them the champions of the AFC North. The game was one you would love if you like offense as the teams combined for sixty-five points, and Joe Burrow went over the four hundred yard mark in the passing game. Ja'Marr Chase also had one of the best games ever by a rookie wideout, going over the two hundred-yard mark while recording three touchdowns in the act. The Chief's offense looked great in the first half of the game, but the Bengals made the proper adjustments in the second half and slowed down the Mahomes and company. The Bengals will look to replay that game on Sunday while the Chiefs will look to continue their hot play, particularly on the offensive side of the football. Lucky for us, I found the best play in this game.
I will be backing the Cincinnati Bengals on their team total over in this game. This Bengals offense has been cruising in the postseason the same way they ended the regular season. Joe Burrow has gotten a lot of love, and rightfully so, but let's acknowledge the wide receiver core that the Bengals possess. Jamar Chase, Tee Higgins, and Tyler Boyd are a scary trio to face off with. The running game of Joe Mixon also will have an opportunity to be effective against this Kansas City defense.
I know stats-wise that Kansas City had a good year on defense; however, this is still not a defensive bunch who strikes fear into me. I will acknowledge the Bengal's offensive line has struggled all year long, so if the Chiefs win up front all game, it can be problematic for the Bengals. The game script I see in this one is very similar to the one in the Bills vs. the Chiefs. I believe this game is going to turn into a track meet in a game that the Bengals will most likely be playing from behind.
I believe that the Bengals will cover this number, but the issue with backing the Bengals on the spread is you are fading Patrick Mahomes and one of the best offenses in the last decade. I think even if this thing somehow gets out of hand, the Bengals go over this number in a trash time type of setting. The only way we do not cash this in is if the Bengals jump out to a big lead and try and run the football the majority of the game, but I just do not see that happening. I am trusting Joey B in this one and the high-flying Bengals offense to get it done!
