Super Bowl 2022 Prediction: Backing this Joe Burrow Prop

Joe Burrow has been so good at football this year that I am dedicating an entire article to him. The path of Joe Burrow is pretty fascinating, going from being a guy who couldn’t get on the field at Ohio State to being a spot starter at LSU. Then he turned in one of the best college football seasons ever while adding a national championship to his resume.

The Cincinnati Bengals decided to take a shot on him with the number one pick two years ago, and I’d say their chance has paid off, to say the least. Burrow has been outstanding this year from the beginning, but he is playing his best football at the best time. The biggest attribute for Burrow, in my opinion, is his composure.

This is a guy who seems to just keep the same mindset no matter the moment and plays his best football when his team needs it. He will have a challenging task in this game facing one of the best defenses in all of the NFL in the LA Rams. This defense is simply loaded, including the best cornerback in the game in Jalen Ramsey and maybe the best player in football period defensive tackle Aaron Donald.

I did not even include super bowl MVP Defensive End Von Miller. That’s how scary this defense is! The issue for the Bengals may be their offensive line, who was the worst in the NFL against the pass rush. The game plan for the Bengals is going to have to be to get the ball out of Burrows' hands quick as we will get into in this article play. 

I am taking Joe Burrow over on passing completions. I do not love the yards because I believe the majority of these passes will be sub-10-yard throws. This rams front is the best in the game, in my opinion, and they ranked top-three against the pass this year. The secondary for the Rams have some holes at the Safety position, but this front for the Rams can cover that up quickly.

The game plan is going to have to be quick drops and throws. This will create a lot of passing chances for Burrow, and these short throws are much easier to complete. I believe that the Bengals also play the majority of this game from behind, so in the second half, I think the Bengals just step back and pepper the Rams with throws. I love the number we are getting here for Joey B on his completions, so let’s ride this thing and cash in on another prop!
