Tee Higgins Super Bowl 2022 Props: Expect a Ton of Yards in the Super Bowl from Tee Higgins

One of the toughest challenges in this matchup for Tee Higgins is the Rams' two-high safety looks, which should thwart off some of this team's willingness to look downfield. With Ja’Marr Chase being the clear Alpha of this offense, despite being in his rookie year, Higgins' production has been up and down. Additionally, with the Rams playing a lot of two-high safeties in an attempt to limit big plays, I think guys like Tyler Boyd, Joe Mixon, and CJ Uzomah (or Drew Sample if Uzomah misses with injury). Let's look at Tee Higgins' role in the playoffs so far.

  • 1-10-0 vs. Raiders
  • 9-96-0 vs. Titans
  • 6-103-0 vs. Chiefs

He started the playoffs slow, with Chase and Mixon doing most of the work in that game. Against Tennessee, whose weaknesses included outside receivers, both Chase and Higgins had great games. Last week, on the back of a 10 target game, Higgins looked very involved in this offense.

Another interesting factor is Jalen Ramsey. While most teams use elite corners in a shadow role, following one receiver around all day, the Rams don't follow that philosophy. While Chase will have the toughest matchup outside, seeing a lot of safety help, it's very possible Chase lines up against Ramsey in 1-on-1 coverage this week.

Overall Higgins has been very good, he has 5 100+ yard games over his last 10 (ending at 96 vs. the Titans). He's peaking at the right times, and even though this may not be the best matchup on the planet, I think that Higgins will continue to carve out a large role on this team.
