Evan McPherson Super Bowl 2022 Prop Picks and Best Bets

Super Bowl Sunday is the last day of the football season. To some, it's a glorious day. To others, it's the worst day of the year because they know there is no football for six months. The Bengals come to LA to play the Rams in their home stadium, where they will have an edge, but they are the road team, as Matthew Stafford has said numerous times on TV. So we will focus on one prop that we feel is a winner, just like the man we are on Evan " Money " McPherson.

Evan McPherson over 1.5 field goals (-120) (Bet $120 to Win $100)

The Bengals have stepped up their defense in the playoffs. They were middle of the pack all year but in the playoffs have been slightly better, and they have had three games where the field goals have come into play and decided the games. The Super Bowl is different than the playoffs because you are not playing to advance. You are playing to win the last game. This means that you don't go for it on 4th down. You take the points. The Bengals have played three very different teams in the playoffs, but one consistent thing is their kicker. This guy has given himself the nickname "Money" for a reason, and here is why. When you go 4-4, 4-4, 4-4 in three playoff games kicking field goals from 28 to 54 yards, you get that nickname. This guy is 12-12 and has made three field goals over 50 yards in the playoffs. Today we only need him to make two field goals to win this prop.

Let's go back a little into the season. We won't count week 17 since he didn't play, but we have 16 games to look at. In eleven out of the sixteen weeks played this year, " Money" attempted two field goals or more. It was three or more in four games, and of course, this isn't counting the playoffs where he has attempted four in every game. In nine games during the regular season, he made two or more field goals. So, he has played 19 games this year, and in 12 of them, he would have won this prop for a 63% average. What matters to us is that the Bengals have changed their offense in the playoffs, and according to "Money," he is good from the Rams 40, which is 57-58 yards in the SB, and this year he has only missed five field goals all 40 or 50 yards. The Bengals are confident in Mcpherson, and in this game, whether they are leading or losing, we feel the Bengals will take the points and kick the field goals. No kicker has won the MVP ever, but this guy makes 4-5 field goals and gets 18 points. He has to be in the running, you would think.

This game will probably come down to who can run the ball because you can't just throw it every play. We have two running teams that were 2 of the worst in the league and two rushing defenses that were both top 10. Points will be important, and we feel very confident that Evan " Money " McPherson will be just that: Money and kick two field goals for us to win this prop. So lay the -120, take the over 1.5 field goals and let's win a prop off the leg of the hottest rookie kicker this league has seen in a long time.
