Favorite Anytime Touchdown Scorer Prop

One of the most fun things to bet on any NFL game is anytime TD props. Seems so simple to predict who will score a touchdown but it is much harder than it seems. For this game, there are a lot of high-profile options at the receiver position with OBJ, Cooper Kupp, and Ja'Marr Chase but for this game, I am looking to a not so high-profile target who I think has a lot of value. One of my favorite Anytime TD props for this game is CJ UZOMAH at +300.

Uzomah has been dealing with some injuries and was listed as questionable, but this is the Super Bowl, I am sure he will do his best to give it a go and if he does, he will be a very reliable red-zone target for Joe Burrow. Uzomah caught a TD in their first playoff game against the Raiders and is actually their 3rd leading receiver in the postseason to this point. He is also just one reception behind Tee Higgins so when Uzomah gets targeted, most of the time he comes down with the catch. +300 to me is very good value for a big and reliable tight end in a game where I expect all of the defensive attention to be on Ja'Marr Chase and the other Bengals receivers.

Longshot PROP Pick

Longshot props are always fun because you throw a few bucks on them with the hope that it may hit to win some extra beer money because they are just that, longshots. They aren't very likely to happen but are always fun to bet so I dug into the props for this game to see if there was any value on these longshot props and I found one that might just have a chance. One longshot that I really like is Sony Michel FIRST TD SCORER of the game at +1800 and here is why.

He has been sharing duties with Cam Akers ever since his return from injury, but Akers really has not been producing in the playoffs with his measly 2.8 yards per carry and more importantly, he has not been taking care of the ball as he has had 2 costly fumbles in the playoffs as well. Michel was their go-to guy down the stretch with Akers and Henderson both hurt, and I believe McVay will be ultra-conservative in this game. So, if the Rams drive down the field and get to the goal line, I believe they will give Michel some opportunities because of his ability to protect the football. Again, this is a longshot at +1800 but I do believe there is some value here because I do think Michel has the better ball security and proved that he can be trusted in those situations.

Fun Prop Pick

The Super Bowl has some of the most obscure props of any sporting event as you can bet on the national anthem, Gatorade color, who someone will thank after the game, and even what color shoes the halftime performer will be wearing. So, I dug into the fun props here to see if there were any with value and think I found a good one. I was looking through the entertainment props and one section I found that was interesting was, "Who will the Superbowl MVP mention first in their speech?" I believe the Rams are going to win this game and if they do, I will assume that Stafford will win MVP.

Stafford had a very interesting off-season as the move to the Rams was actually cultivated when he ran into Sean McVay on vacation but that is not where I am going with this prop. A little over a year ago, Stafford's wife Kelly had a brain tumor and required surgery to remove it. Obviously, brain surgery is very scary and there are no guarantees. She had a 12-hour surgery that was successful, but she had a long road ahead of her. She had to relearn how to walk and complete a multitude of basic tasks that most people take for granted. Stafford has been open about how scary that experience was and how much he cares for his family, so for this prop, I will be taking FAMILY at +600 because I believe if Stafford is to win the MVP, he will thank his wife and his family first.
