ANALYSIS

2022 NFL Draft Predictions: Where Will Jameson Williams Land?

The NFL draft is one of the best times of the year for prop bettors. It's an information-based market, meaning you can get significant value just based on beating the books to the punch if you’re quick on injury/draft news. Knowing all the best plugged-in sources and having a good idea of team needs/habits is very important to the NFL draft, and I think we found some good value here. Another tip before we get into the article is to always keep tabs on the sportsbooks. The sportsbooks move their lines as a result of sharp action, which is normally based on information getting out, monitoring differing sportsbooks is a great way to find value without having much information.

Bills Draft Defensive Back Pick #1 (+150) (Bet $100 to Win $150)

The most common mock we are seeing here is normally a running back, but I really don't see that happening here. Tredavious White is coming off of an ACL tear and they allowed CB2 to walk in free agency. This is a fairly complete team, but CB depth will be important, especially in a division that just traded for Tyreek Hill. The Bills have been one of the more well-run organizations in recent years, I doubt they will fall in love with a round 1 running back and overstep and draft them over a more in-demand skill position. I think there is an outside chance that they are drafting a sneaky Wide Receiver in this spot, so I also sprinkled WR at +500.

Jameson Williams Under 11.5 Draft Position (-130) (Bet $130 to Win $100)

This is one that I was originally a bit scared to post, considering the vig has moved multiple times over the last day, but I’m confident that Williams goes here. If there's one thing I've learned since starting betting on the draft, it's that speed ALWAYS rises, especially with WRs. Williams has legit game-breaking speed, and with what teams have witnessed with guys like Tyreek Hill in recent years, I expect Williams to be selected very early. The Jets, Falcons, and Commanders all need WR's and we are also in a situation with multiple good teams that have picks, ready to draft a wide receiver. The Panthers, Seahawks, and Commanders have made it clear they are willing to trade back, and with teams like the Packers and Chiefs looking for a star receiver, I think Williams will be a top 10 pick.
