Tennessee Titans vs New York Giants Prediction, Pick, and Odds: Expect Derrick Henry to Run Wild on Giants
Last year, the Tennesee Titans finished as the number one seed in the AFC. They had one of the league's best rushing offenses and defensively were extremely stout against the run which led them to a 12-5 season before bowing out to the Cincinnati Bengals in a one-and-done loss.
The New York Giants had a rough 2021 season that saw them finish 4-13 with three different quarterbacks starting over the season. With a new coach in Brian Daboll and new GM in Joe Schoen, will the Giants be better in 2022?
Let's dive into my prediction, pick, and odds for the Tennesee Titans vs. New York Giants Week 1 battle.

Tennessee Titans vs New York Giants Prediction
How about a little NFC vs. AFC action to get the season started for the Tennesee Titans and New York Giants? For Tennesee, their season ended abruptly last year as they were bounced by the Bengals in the Divisional Round.
Many are questioning Ryan Tannehill, and for good reason, he likely won't play much of a factor in this game. Why? Derrick Henry is back and the Titans are going to run wild on the Giants.
Henry played just eight games but in those eight games he averaged 117.1 yards per game and had 10 touchdowns to his name. Even in his absence, the Titans were still fifth in rushing yards and third in rushing touchdowns on the season.
As for the Giants they struggled against the run as they ranked 25th against in rushing yards against. Kayvon Thibodeaux is banged up and while Dexter Lawrence and Leonard Williams are good against the run, the linebacker core is...well, brutal.
They are expected to start Micah McFadden and Tae Crowder. Crowder started all 17 games for the Giants last year and racked up 130 tackles on defense. The issue though is his play in the run game is what led to some of their struggles. As for McFadden, well he is a fifth-round rookie. Sure, he can hit right away but as a day three pick, he may need some developmental time.
On the offensive side of the ball, I think Saquan Barkley will struggle against a stout defense. Expect the Titans to take control early and this one has the chance to get ugly.
