Bills vs. Rams Staff Picks
Josh Gayle: Josh Allen over 35.5 pass attempts @ -115 (Bet $115 to win $100)
Allen only hit this prop in 8-of-17 regular season games last year. Of the nine games that he didn’t hit this prop, eight of them were in games decided by 14+ points. In one of the games, the Bills were getting beat so badly that they put in Mitch Trubisky and in the other seven they were leading by so much that they elected to run the ball late to get out of the game as quickly as possible. This game projects to be close and Buffalo will need his arm early and often.

Matt McCuen: Bills ML @ -135 (Bet $135 to win $100)
Love this spot for Buffalo to kick off the season. This is a fishy line to me and the fact that the Bills are favs on the road is a sign to ride with them. I expect a shootout here today and I will take the better offense in this game.

John Hyslop: Josh Allen & Matthew Stafford to combine for 550+ pass yards @ +310 (Bet $100 to win $310)
Look, I don't know everything about everything but I do know that one of these guys is going for 300+ (probably). Basic math will tell you the other guy would only need 250 at that point and we'll be home. Running the ball will be a problem for both teams so the air is the only option. If you think about it, both guys could go 300+ so we're getting a deal here. This could cash in the first half.

Geoff Fienberg: Rams ML @ +120 (Bet $100 to win $120)
I, like pretty much the entire football world, believe great things can and probably will happen for the Buffalo Bills this season, but I do wonder how the kid people didn't want to eat lunch with in the past will handle being the most popular girl in school. That's probably a bigger mental hurdle for their fans than for players. Apologize for the jargon, I'm taking the Rams, who are front-loaded and healthy coming into Week 1 to defend their Super Bowl banner drop. I will also be playing the Rams in teasers for the NFL weekend. I really like getting them to +8.5 on a 6-point teaser. You have the protection of multiple key numbers here.

Brian Good: Rams ML @ +120 (Bet $100 to win $120)
This is not an indictment against the Bills. I still think they're one of the best teams in the NFL, I still think Josh Allen has the best shot to win MVP this year and I still think they're a real Super Bowl contender. But, the Rams are in the same tier as them and they're home in Week 1 getting points. This is simply a value bet. Remember, this team won the Super Bowl a year ago and they've gone out and added talent to their roster. I see this game as a toss-up, so I love getting some juice here to open the season at home.

Matt O'Leary: Gabriel Davis over 58.5 receiving yards @ -110 (Bet $110 to win $100)
The last time we saw Gabriel Davis, he was going for 201 yards and four scores against the Chiefs in a playoff game. While I obviously don’t think he’ll put up those video-game numbers again, I do like him to clear this number. Davis should have a much bigger role with Cole Beasley no longer in the offense and while Jalen Ramsey is locking down Stefon Diggs. That allows someone like Davis to get a more favorable matchup. I expect a big year from the now 23-year-old receiver.

Tom Viera: Allen Robinson Over 62.5 Rec Yards @ -110 (Bet $110 to Win $100)
We’ve finally made it. 207 days of no NFL football and we’re officially back tonight! I think it’s important to temper expectations and be aware of bankroll management at this point. There will be 21 weeks for us to turn a profit. With that said this is my best bet for opening night! Not only do I like Allen Robinson to score a touchdown tonight as I mentioned in my Rams vs. Bills Anytime TD Picks but I think he contributes heavily to the Rams offense off the bat. The Rams threw the tenth most passes per game a year ago and A-Rob steps into the role opposite Kupp. Robinson gets the best quarterback of his career in Matthew Stafford who averages more completed air yards than any of his former quarterbacks since 2016. Robert Woods is now a Titan and Odell Beckham Jr. is a free agent freeing up a ton of targets and third receiver, Van Jefferson will miss this game. Buffalo is solid against the pass but star cornerback Tre’Davious White is out the first four weeks and Robinson will have an advantageous matchup all night. Erase 2021 from your mind where Justin Field ranked 33rd in the NFL in accuracy and since 2019 A-Rob hit this over in 21 of his last 32 regular season games. He finished 9th in the NFL in total receiving yards in 2020 and 14th in 2019. A-Rob should have an excellent season starting tonight! Best of luck if you tail!
