We are back! What an offseason it was. After 207 LONG days, NFL action is back! What game we have to open the season. The Rams are the defending Super Bowl champions and the Bills enter 2022 as the favorite to supplant them and win the Lombardi Trophy this year. Both of these teams bolstered their rosters in the offseason and are strong on both sides of the ball. The Bills and Rams finished inside the Top 10 in touchdowns per game and points per game a year ago. Thursday night will surely produce fireworks. Sportsbooks are expecting a shootout pegging the NFL season opener with the second-highest total in Week 1 behind just the Cardinals vs. Chiefs matchup.

Allen Robinson (+150) (Bet $100 to Win $150)

*Odds Available at FanDuel*

I shared on Twitter the position A-Rob is in entering 2022 a few weeks back. Yes, he was disappointing last year in Chicago but he steps in as the number two wide receiver for an offense that was tenth in passes per game last season and third in red zone passing. Robinson was among the top 25 wide receivers in the NFL versus man coverage. He now gets the best quarterback of his career in Matthew Stafford who averages more completed air yards than any of Allen Robinson's former quarterbacks since 2016. Robert Woods is now a Titan and Odell Beckham Jr. is a free agent freeing up a ton of targets and third receiver, Van Jefferson will miss this game as well. The Bills defense is projected to be one of the best in the league but they are without star cornerback Tre'Davious White as he is out from Week 1-4. Robinson will have an advantage on the outside against Dane Jackson or rookie Kaiir Elam. The Bills defense was elite against the pass last season but I believe Stafford will love his new big-bodied receiver and get him involved early.

Dawson Knox (+175) (Bet $100 to Win $175)

*Odds Available at FanDuel*

If you followed my picks last season you'd know my infatuation with Knox and his prowess to find the end zone. The Rams held tight ends out of the end zone last season allowing just four to the position but they were in the bottom half in receptions. Knox inked a four-year extension and made him one of the top five highest-paid tight ends in the NFL. Unfortunately, on August 18th his younger brother suddenly passed away. We are truly rooting for Knox as humans. He was second on Buffalo last season with 19 red zone targets behind only Stefon Diggs and he finished with 9 touchdowns. He was fourth in the NFL in end zone targets and led all tight ends in touchdowns in 2021. Let's see him start 2022 where he belongs. In the endzone.

Gabriel Davis (+160) (Bet $100 to Win $160)

*Odds Available at FanDuel*

Do you know what's fun? Actually taking the sexy pick to start the season. Typically, I'd fade a popular pick but I'm all aboard the Gabe Davis train here in 2022. Actually, I'm the conductor! The Rams best corner, Jalen Ramsey will likely shadow Stefon Diggs for roughly 60% of the snaps. Davis will excel in his matchup against the other Rams starting cornerback David Long all night. Davis scored four times in the last five regular-season games and then went bananas in the playoffs, scoring five times in two games with four of those coming against the Chiefs. Josh Allen undoubtedly trusts him entering 2022 in the red zone. I'm extremely bullish on Davis and his 6-foot-2 red zone-ready frame to propel Josh Allen to his first MVP award in 2022 alongside Diggs and Knox.
