Dallas Cowboys vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Prediction
While both teams possessed potent offenses in 2021, there are questions heading into tonight’s game for both teams. All-Pro left tackle Tyron Smith, one of the best at his position in the league, is out for the Cowboys.
The Cowboys are also very thin at the wide receiver position. Amari Cooper is now in Cleveland, leaving CeeDee Lamb and some unproven players at the wide receiver position. Ezekiel Elliot’s production steadily decreased over the last few years, and Smith being out does him no favors.
Smith is such a pivotal part of the Cowboys’ success on the ground on through the air. Bucs center Ryan Jensen, a mainstay in the middle of the Buccaneers line, has also been critical to his team’s success. Mixed with Tom Brady's absence during camp.
The Bucs are expected to have star receiver Chris Godwin back, but it sounds like he’ll be available in a limited capacity. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Bucs decide to ease Godwin back into action after tearing his ACL last year.
Week 1 has gotten off to a strange start, and I’m going with the under for tonight’s game.
