Sunday Night Football is here! We have two NFC juggernauts facing off. These two teams combined for 25 wins last season. Yes, 25! Tom Brady at the age of 44 years old led the NFL in passing touchdowns, yards, and attempts. Most people are tired of this man but as a Giants fan, I have zero sourness towards Brady. Thanks to 2008 and 2012. This is likely Brady's farewell tour in 2022 and I can't wait to appreciate the greatness for one more season. The Cowboys are as polarizing as it gets in professional sports and they are once again projected to win the NFC East. Both teams are not at full strength entering Week 1 but we should still be provided with a great showdown.
I've narrowed down the best options for anytime touchdown scorers for you here on Sunday Night Football. Let's get to the best anytime touchdown picks for the Cowboys vs. Buccaneers. Best of luck if you tail!

Dalton Schultz (+187) (Bet $100 to Win $187)
I don't know about you guys but when I hear the name "Schultz" I immediately think of the movie Django. Dr. King Schultz is played by Christoph Waltz. Now Dalton wouldn't have been able to play the role of Dr. Schultz as well as Waltz but he can certainly play football well. This Sunday Night Football game projects to be the fastest pace of all the games here in Week 1. This means more plays and more scoring opportunities. The Buccaneers front seven is excellent against the run so I think game flow will force the Cowboys to pass the ball a ton. After Ceedee Lamb the next best-receiving weapon is Schultz for Dak Prescott. The Bucs were tied for the sixth-most receptions allowed to tight ends a year ago and Schultz will be busy Sunday night. He scored 5 times over the last seven weeks of the season and he will start 2022 where he left off!
Tony Pollard (+230) (Bet $100 to Win $230)
Pollard had a career-high 70.4 total yards per game last season. Many fans are ready for Zeke and Pollard to truly split touches. With the stout Tampa Bay run defense that allowed the least rushing yards to opposing running backs in 2021 they will likely stall the Cowboys running game. I expect Pollard to become extremely active in the Cowboys pass attack on Sunday night. The Bucs allowed the second most receptions and were tied for the fourth most scores to running backs through the air last season. There are reports that Pollard will line up out of the slot more early this season as well to make up for the lack of pass catchers currently in Dallas.
Mike Evans (+110) (Bet $100 to Win $110) - *BANKER* - 2 Units
Brady has been known to struggle when pressured throughout his career. With a banged-up offensive line heading into Week 1 normally, I'd be concerned but Brady has been releasing the ball faster than ever before in recent years. Although the Cowboys pass rush has a chance to wreck this game, I have faith in Brady. With Chris Godwin and Russell Gage dealing with injuries, we can expect Brady to lean heavily on Fournette and Evans in the passing game. Tampa beat reports are suggesting it's more than likely Godwin will suit up but he's 9 months removed from an ACL tear and hasn't faced any contact in practice in his recovery. My guess is he will be limited in action tonight. Over the last two seasons these are Mike Evans stats when Chris Godwin was sidelined:
- 7 catches-104 yards-1 TD
- 7-122-1
- 5-41-1
- 5-55-1
- 4-47-1
- 6-89-2
- 9-117-1
- 8-119-1
I am fine with riding this trend of Evans scoring at least once when Godwin is out even though reports suggest he's suiting up. It's likely Trevon Diggs shadows Evans and that doesn't scare me off this. Diggs allowed the most receiving yards in coverage last season in the NFL. Despite being held to just 3 catches and 24 yards in Week 1 last season against the Cowboys, Mike Evans should blast off here to start the 2022 season.
