Dallas Cowboys vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers Prediction
Tom Brady has family issues. Dak Prescott has his injury issues. The Bucs are missing offensive lineman Rob Gronkowski is gone, Giovani Bernard, Mike Evans, and Chris Godwin are all injured, while the Cowboys are missing Amari Cooper as he was traded and Michael Gallup as he is injured. Those are a lot of offensive pieces that are missing and since both quarterbacks didn’t play in the preseason we expect a very slow start tonight from both teams.
With the banged-up offensive line for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with a rookie starting at left guard, with another guy starting at center for the first time ever this offensive line is just a mess. We already mentioned how many injuries they have previously. This is going to be a very tough game for Tom Brady against a very good Cowboys defense. If you look at the other side the Cowboys have their own issues on the offense and the line with all the injuries a new wide receiver this team is going to focus on Ezekiel Elliott and Tony Pollard to get the running game going.
There’s not much to say here other than both teams are missing offensive players they’ve got a lot of new guys in different spots and it will take time to get going as we saw Thursday night with Stafford missing all of the preseason and his new toy Allen Robinson didn't click at all yet. The defenses are way ahead of the offenses in this game it's that simple.
There’s only one way to play this game and that’s the under 50 1/2 available everywhere as we feel this game is going to be much different than last year's 60-point game in September. Let’s not forget before last year’s game the last five between these teams had gone under the total. It will take time for both quarterbacks and both offenses to get going so we hope that happens another week, this week let’s play under and worry about their offenses getting going another week.
As a bonus, we recommend a prop on Tom Brady throwing an interception tonight as he will have less time than usual to throw. We feel that he might have one tipped in the air and caught by the wrong boys tonight. You should be able to find the prop -1/2 interceptions -130.
