Patrick Mahomes came out and said that it’s going to be a different receiver every week for the Chiefs. This week there is one player I love a lot. That player is Marquez Valdes-Scantling. He has shown to be the man on the outside for the Chiefs in Week 1. The Chiefs also paid him good money to be the deep threat for them this season.

His numbers in Week 1 weren’t too great but he also saw 6 targets. Which is one of the highest on the team. He also faced a defense that last season was very vulnerable at giving up the deep pass. I also don’t believe JC Jackson will play today. He hasn’t seen much action in the preseason and to play against a QB like Mahomes for his first game isn’t the smartest decision. I really feel Valdes Scantling will break a long one tonight. We always see that one big play on Thursday Night Football. Tonight I really believe it’s Valdes-Scantling night.
When I first saw the receiving yard's total for him I was like wow that’s low. Last week he caught 3 balls and had 44 yards. This week it’s at 44.5. I really love this over and I’m smashing it tonight. I just can’t see him not getting this in this high-flying Chiefs offense. I really believe he’ll catch a 50+ yarder bomb from Mahomes. Another good bet could be his anytime touchdown bet. But I’m riding his receiving yards over for this game. I feel the Chargers will focus a lot on Kelce and Valdes-Scantling will beat them over the top for a long one! Let’s cash this
