Green Bay Packers vs. Chicago Bears Prediction

The Beats come into this game feeling good about themselves after pulling off a week 1 victory over the San Francisco 49ers. The Packers come into this one feeling anything but good after getting their doors blown off in week one against the Minnesota Vikings. The Packers will look to get the sour taste out of their mouth tonight as they play their home opener.

Green Bay moved on from Aaron Rodgers's top option Davante Adams in the off-season. The move came as a shock to many as Adams and Rodgers produced one of the best combinations in the sport. Green Bay will now look at some young wideouts to step up and fill some big shoes. That was not the case in week one; as on the Packer's opening drive, rookie Christian Watson dropped a touchdown pass from Rodgers. That play set the tone for the game as the Packer's offense just could not produce against Minnesota.

Chicago went out and won an ugly game. There was a lot of rain involved in the game, and the Bears used that to their favor. They stormed back in the second half and kicked off their new season 1-0. This team has a lot of question marks, and we will answer those questions as the season goes on. The bottom line is that Chicago is 1-0, and they will look to shock the league tonight with a win. 

I am taking the Packers tonight on the -10 spread. I know it looks like a larger number but when you break this game down, it is the right line. Aaron Rodgers has owned Chicago in his career and believe me, he will be playing this game with a chip on his shoulder. Rodgers got embarrassed last week, and he will not allow that to happen again tonight at home.

I backed the Bears last week, but this game is a completely different situation. Lambeau will be fired up tonight, which will give the Packers an extra jolt. This is a Packers defense that is much better than most give them credit for, and they will be able to limit this Chicago offense. Let’s stay hot and cash in!
