Los Angeles Rams vs. Atlanta Falcons Prediction, Player Prop Pick, Odds: No Stopping Cooper Kupp
After a monster Cooper Kupp Week to open the season, I’m not expecting him to slow down. Kupp remains essential to the Los Angeles Rams offense, and it’s unlikely the Atlanta Falcons are able to get in his way in Week 2.
The Rams are hosting the Falcons today, and they’re looking to avenge their loss in the NFL’s season opener. Kupp and the Rams have had 10 days to rest up for this contest, and Matthew Stafford’s favorite target should be lethal as ever against Atlanta.

I’m honestly surprised that this line opened below 100 yards. Cooper Kupp saw 15 targets in Week 1, turning them into 13 receptions for 128 yards. The All-Pro wideout ranked in the top five among all NFL pass catchers in each of these categories last week, proving he’s once again lined up for an elite season.
Kupp reached this over in 15 of his 17 regular season games last week. After last week’s 128-yard performance, he holds an 88.9% hit rate on this over when playing with Matthew Stafford. Stafford’s favorite target is averaging 115.3 receiving yards per game in these 18 games, and now the duo gets to face a subpar Falcons defense.
Last week, Saints QB Jameis Winston diced up the Falcons to the tune of over 200 passing yards and a pair of touchdowns, just in the fourth quarter. Atlanta had a solid start to the game, and then their pass defense showed its true colors when they conceded a perfect 158.3 passer rating to Winston in the game’s final quarter.
Atlanta allowed the fifth-highest completion percentage and the seventh-highest passer rating to their opponents last season. Outside of AJ Terrell, their secondary lacks real talent. Kupp should tear these guys up all afternoon, just like he’s done alongside Stafford since last year.
It feels like there has to be an absolute catastrophe for Kupp not to reach the 90-yard mark. We’re getting tremendous value on this play, so let’s keep riding the Stafford + Kupp train!
