With an action-packed Sunday underway, we end the day with a solid Sunday Night Football matchup! We have two NFC North rivals facing off. Aaron Rodgers and the Packers offense disappointed in Week 1 on the road against the Vikings and the Bears upset the 49ers in a rain-soaked game. Unfortunately for the Bears, Aaron Rodgers is set to explode here on primetime. Rodgers has won six-straight starts against the Bears and has thrown 16 touchdowns and zero interceptions in those games. Rodgers has a 23-5 record against the Bears. Just incredible consistency of beating up on one team. The Packers are a publicly held nonprofit and Rodgers would have been a part owner with his most recent contract if he was legally able so instead, he's a part owner of the Chicago Bears!

Last year the Packers and Rodgers put up a dud on the road in Week 1 and followed that up with a big Week 2 on Monday night Football against the Lions. I'm expecting Rodgers to come out in the 2022 home opener at Lambeau Field and pick apart this awful Bears secondary bit by bit.

I've narrowed down the best options for anytime touchdown scorers for you here on Sunday Night Football. Let's get to the best anytime touchdown picks for the Packers vs. Bears. Best of luck if you tail!

Allen Lazard (+230) (Bet $100 to Win $230)

*Odds Available at PointsBet*

After missing the season opener, Lazard is ready to make his debut. He enters the season as the Packers number one receiver. You're giving us the back-to-back MVP's top receiving target at +230!? This is a no-brainer. Lazard has yet to get in a full practice at the time of writing but assuming he plays he will be the top target for Rodgers. The other wide receivers (Watkins, Doubs, Watson, and Cobb) all played between 57% to 67% of snaps in Week 1. That's a busy rotation. If Lazard plays he will be a staple though. He is one of the premier blockers at the receiver position in the NFL and a trusted target for Rodgers. With Davante Adams no longer at his disposal, someone will need to step up. Last year the Bears secondary allowed the second-most scores to opposing wide receivers with 23! There's 28 vacated red zone targets with Adams gone and Lazard was only behind Aaron Jones in this category last year. He has scored in back-to-back games against the Bears! In 3 games since 2019 without Adams that Lazard had at least 5 targets, he has scored in two of them. Lock in Lazard!

Aaron Jones (+100) (Bet $100 to Win $100) - *BANKER* - 2 Units

*Odds Available at Bet365*

The Packers are double-digit favorites in this game. Jones can also catch the swing and flat passes against a zone-heavy Chicago defense. He disappointed in Week 1 but with a Rodgers bounceback comes a Jones bounceback. Jones has scored in three straight games against the Bears and in four of his last five! The Bears made numerous roster changes coming into this year. The Bears lost many starters across the defensive front seven including defensive tackle Akiem Hicks, nose tackle Eddie Goldman, edge rushers Khalil Mack, Bilal Nichols, and linebacker Danny Trevathan. The Bears are switching to a 4-3 defense leaving the edges most vulnerable against the run. Aaron Jones excels in this area. Yes, AJ Dillon out-touched Jones in Week 1 but Jones will be more involved here. Jones out-snapped Dillon 37 to 31 and ran 27 routes compared to Dillon's 17. Head coach Matt LaFleur said, “Any time Aaron Jones comes out of a game with eight touches, that's not good enough.” The Packers have a strong edge at Lambeau Field and I fully expect Jones to Lambeau Leap at least once Sunday night!
