Raiders vs Cardinals Prop Pick

Darren Waller o19.5 Longest Reception -110 (Bet $110 to win $100)

*Odds available at DraftKings at time of publishing*

I’ve liked the Raiders' offense all week and finding creative ways to bet on them has been my goal. While I’m already on Derek Carr’s passing yards, I like doubling down with Waller's longest reception prop. Waller just got paid before the season, and I'm expecting him to live up to that contract. The Cardinals' defense was absolutely trashed by the Chiefs last week, I think the Raiders could give them some PTSD tonight.

Darren Waller may have not gotten the usage everyone had wanted last week, but he still cashed this ticket. That’s my favorite part about the longest reception, you’re never out of it, only need one catch. Waller went 4-79 on six targets, and I think it’s fair to assume that Devante Adams grabs a couple of fewer receptions this week. I have zero trust in the Cardinals' secondary to slow down the TE, especially with what we saw Kelce do to them last week.

Rams vs Falcons Prop Pick

Marcus Mariota o6.5 Rush Attempts -137 (Bet $137 to win $100)

Mariota is one of those guys that proved he’s worthy to be a starter in the NFL. I’m not saying he’s gonna change the world, but being able to move the ball and score points on that Saints defense was definitely an impressive start. Mariota ended up running 12 times for 72 rushing yards last week, which finished second only behind Jalen Hurts. His underlying numbers were also great with six designed runs (3rd behind Lance & Hurts) and the Falcons ran play action on 39.5% of plays.

In this game, I’m projecting the Rams to bounce back and really take care of business. I think Mariota will be forced to scramble and move around a bit more, especially if this team is playing from behind and they can’t get it going through the air. Having to bet on two offensive Falcons players is definitely scary, but I think we are still buying a bit low here.
