Buffalo Bills vs. Tennessee Titans Game Pick: MNF Prediction and Odds

The Tennesse Titans take on the Buffalo Bills for NFL week 2 on Monday Night Football. Lightning Locks is here with his best bet for the game tonight.

So do you think the Bills have been reading the headlines? Bills thrash Super Bowl Champs, Bills favored to win Super Bowl, Bills offense is unstoppable. Seems like the Bills are the best team in the NFL after one week. The Giants weren't supposed to be 2-0, Green Bay was done after last week, and we had three of the greatest NFL comebacks this weekend. Tonight should be just as good if not better.

Buffalo Bills vs. Tennessee Titans Prediction

The Bills are good but are the Titans double-digits worse than Buffalo? Sure they blew a game against the Giants that they should have won (we had the Giants as a best bet so we are glad they did). But does that make them garbage and a bottom feeder? No, they still have a very capable QB, an all-pro running back, and a great defense that will not allow the Bills to score 31 on them because if they do then they have no chance of staying in this game.

What if I told you that the Titans have beaten the Bills these last two years? They know how to do it. Last year they won a shootout and Henry had 143 yards and three touchdowns to boot. What if I told you that starting 0-2 pretty much guarantees you won't make the playoffs recently?

The Titans aren't going to win a slugfest here so they know Henry is the key to this game and with the Bills missing Ed Oliver and some guys on defense, the Titans need to wear the Bills down. We saw some long drives yesterday of 18 plays or more and that's how you wear down a defense and upset an offense like the Bills by keeping them off the field. The one thing everyone says and knows about the Titans is that they are a tough team and they will need that blue-collar ethic to stay in the game tonight.

The Bills were awesome against the Rams. They stomped the non-mobile Stafford, they made him make mistakes, and clearly, the Rams were still full of themselves and needed a knockdown. After watching the Rams against the Falcons maybe the Rams aren't as good as they think because the Falcons' win was not impressive at all.

The Bills still don't have a great running game and their offense scores fast but that puts a lot of pressure on their defense. In the NFL, you are never as good as you looked last week or as bad as you looked the previous week. The Bills might still be partying and reading some headlines and laying double-digits in the NFL isn't easy as the Rams and Broncos learned this weekend. You can also never underestimate a team as the Bengals learned yesterday as well.

Ryan Tannehill has to find a new weapon now that AJ Brown is playing in the other MNF game. He has two stud rookies in Treylon Burks and Kyle Phillips who had a huge game last week. Hopefully, Phillips will play as he has a shoulder injury. The big news is that the Titans now have Josh Gordon, everyone's favorite signing.

Gordon can play or he wouldn't be getting jobs so hopefully, he will add something to the Titans' offense. The dog is 10-1 in the last eleven in this series. The Titans were the No. 1  seed last year and they didn't lose that much talent or deserve to be a double-digit dog tonight.

Let Derick Henry run the ball to run the clock and the Titans will be on the right side tonight. Take the 10  points and watch Henry do his thing and the Titans to not be embarrassed on MNF. After this game, you will be saying remember the Titans because they're not going away anytime soon.
