Monday Night Football Same Game Parlay Breakdown
Kyle Philips is a guy I’ve been looking to target after re-watching last week's game vs the Giants. Not only did he earn himself a role on this team despite being a fifth-round draft selection with minimal media attention, he already cemented himself in this offense. In Week 1, Philips led the Titans in receptions, targets, and receiving yards despite only playing about half of the snaps. With Nick Westbrook and Robert Woods being the two starting outside receivers, its clear there is plenty of room for these younger guys to prove themselves.Â
What impressed me most about Philips last week was how they stuck with him through the troubles. He started the game with a great special teams return, before dropping a couple of balls throughout the game. Despite that, they went back to him on multiple important throws in the fourth quarter, showing trust that may not be visible in the box score. I think attacking Philips through these alt-lines is the best way to attack it tonight, minimal risk but high reward. He’s been nursing an injured shoulder all week, while that could hamper his usage I'm willing to take the risk.Â
While I would like to play his alt-lines solo, it's currently only available in the DraftKings SGP option right now. When looking at good pairs, I immediately liked the idea of going back to Stefon Diggs in the red zone. While Gabe Davis being questionable is the biggest news on the slate, I like his chances to score whether or not Davis is active. Diggs looked great in Week 1, and the Bills have one of the best offenses in football. The Bills are also a team that doesn't stop throwing when they are ahead, which is a great factor in a game with a 10 point spread. They never let off the gas, and I think Diggs is in store of a great game against a weak Titans secondary.
