How quickly they forget. Last year, do you know who was the leading receiver in Philadelphia? Yes, it was former Alabama star receiver, DeVonta Smith. This guy had 64 receptions and 916 yards and five touchdowns. He led the team in all three categories. He was their number one receiver but the Eagles said they needed someone else so they went and got AJ Brown and AJ had a great opening week as there were no issues with Hurts and Brown as they had 10 completions and 155 yards together with Hurts only throwing 18 completions for the game.
DeVonta as we mentioned last year's number one receiver in Philly got no yards, no targets, no receptions no nothing against the Lions in a game the Eagles scored a whopping 38 points. DeVonta will not be happy and the Eagles should be embarrassed that they forgot about him. Tonight will be different with the Vikings defense being just a tad better than the Lions defense and won't allow 39 rushing attempts tonight. We feel they will handle AJ Brown and that means it's time for DeVonta to get dirty this year. If the Eagles will score and get the passing game going which they will have to if they want to beat the Vikings and their high-powered offense the Eagles have to get the ball to DeVonta. With his total lower than it should be off last week's no-show performance, we feel DeVonta will show up and easily go over his yardage total.
