New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys Prediction, Pick, Odds: Can Daniel Jones and the Giants Put Up Points?
The New York Giants have opened up their season 2-0 for the first time since 2016 in which they ended up making the playoffs.
The Dallas Cowboys' start to the season has not been as exciting, as they lost their starting quarterback Dak Prescott for at least six weeks. In their second game, and the first full game starting Cooper Rush, they came out with a win against the Bengals, fending off any comeback. They won 20-17 by hitting a field goal as time was expiring.

New York Giants vs. Dallas Cowboys Prediction
For the New York Giants, they’ve now beaten all odds and began their season 2-0, with a recent win over the Carolina Panthers. The win wasn’t the prettiest, but they got the job done. There’s one major difference between this year's team and last year’s team, they’re finding ways to win, rather than finding ways to lose. Brian Daboll should get a solid amount of credit for that, as he’s looked solid as a head coach in his two games.
Graham Gano went 4/4 on field goals and hit his only extra point for the Giants, helping them get into position to win the game.
The Cowboys were facing adversity, and they went out and avoided falling to 0-2 on the season. Cooper Rush, in his first full game, was solid. He picked up 235 yards on 19/31 passing and one touchdown. One major win for the Cowboys was Rush protecting the ball. By keeping possession and not throwing picks, the Cowboys have a chance to find points each drive, whether it be a field goal or touchdown.
The Cowboys' defense was able to keep Joe Burrow under 200 yards passing and got to him with a sack six times for 34 yards lost. While the Bengals' offensive line hasn’t been solid, the Cowboys deserve credit for being able to maximize the opportunity to apply pressure.
If the Cowboys were able to hold Tom Brady and Burrow both under 20 points, it’s likely Daniel Jones won’t be the QB to break that spell. The Giants' defense is no joke, either, and the Cowboys' offense hasn’t been particularly special in their first two games.
With the Cowboys starting their backup quarterback, the Giants come into the divisional matchup as 2.5-point favorites. The total o/u is set at 39.5 points. In the Giants, last 13 home games, the under on total points has been hit, and it’s trending that way again this week.
As mentioned earlier, the Cowboys have struggled to put a lot of points on the board, while they have a solid defense that will force Daniel Jones to struggle.
Ten of the Cowboys' last 13 games have hit the under, so Monday Night Football is trending towards a low-scoring affair. And just like the Giants' previous game, the kicker may get quite a bit of action, and could even be a game changer late in the game.
