While I’ve had a lot of success with these alt-lines recently, I’m not going to force anything in what I believe will mostly be a defense first game. I feel the same way about touchdowns, there should be a couple of good scoring opportunities, but just because you hit Leonard Fournette and Mike Evans yesterday, doesn't mean we need to dump that money back in today. While I could tell you guys to bet on Cooper Kupp today (duh), let's climb the ladder on these odds and trust the San Francisco fullback today.

49ers vs. Rams Predictions

Kyle Juszczyk TD (+1100) (Bet $100 to Win $1100)

Juszczyk already has a touchdown this season, and should be in store for increased usage. With Trent Williams out, this team is going to need all the help they can get in the pass blocking department. While Jeff Wilson Jr. is serviceable, I think he will see increased opportunity with the pressure Jimmy G is likely to see. He’s already involved in red zone packages, and I was expecting odds much closer to +600 or +700.

Talanoa Hufanga INT (+580) (Bet $100 to Win $580)

Speaking of defense, let's move to a couple of ballhawk safeties I like to get involved tonight. All the hype in the world is coming around on both of these quarterbacks to turn the ball over, and I agree. Rather than laying a couple -120 interception lines, lets get frisky and try to call our shot here. If you haven't heard of Talanoa Hufanga yet, you will soon. The safety has been compared to Troy Polamalu plenty (probably due to the hair) but they do share the ability to be all over the field. He already has an interception, and a dropped pick 6, this season. Matt Stafford has an interception in 3/3 games versus San Fran and 15 of his last 24 games.

Nick Scott INT (+800) (Bet $100 to Win $800)

Jimmy Garoppolo has similar turnover prone tendencies to Matthew Stafford. While Jalen Ramsey may be the obvious choice, shutting down opposing receivers leads to less targets, and less opportunities. Scott isn't going to lead the team in snaps, but when he’s out there I like the chances of him gambling on a turnover. At +800, I think this is worth a sprinkle.
