TNF Denver Broncos vs. Indianapolis Colts Prediction: Will Colts Defense Slow Down Russell Wilson?
The NFL really loves to give people as many gambling opportunities as they can. For years the NFLÂ wouldn't talk about gambling but now we all see the truth. These games where teams have literally two days to prepare as there is always an off day after Sunday's games are just not fair nor good for the teams playing Thursday.

Denver Broncos vs. Indianapolis Colts Prediction
I have heard from many players how they hate these games and they do cause more injuries (we saw the Tua injury) but the NFL says they care about injuries like Tua's concussion and injury last Thursday but if they really cared they wouldn't put players in harm like they are for the money. This game tonight has so many injuries you need to check the injury reports every hour to see who is in.
We all know that both teams starting running backs are out including the best player on the field tonight would have been Jonathan Taylor. We also have a few defensive stars out including Leonard (Indy)and Gregory (Denver) which should affect both teams as well. This game will not be an exciting game at all as we feel both teams want to survive without any more injuries and play a much more important divisional game next week.Â
As we mentioned both teams are missing their best running backs. They do have capable backups, but again, they are backups. In Indianapolis, we have Nyheim Hines who has 11 yards on the season with a 1.4 average (he is their second-best receiver so most of his yards are on the receiving end). His backups have 3 carries for 0 yards. When you have a stud like Taylor you don't need anyone else but 3 guys with a total of 11 yards that is scary especially when Matt Ryan has 12 yards rushing on the season.
The Colts are not built for scoring and their receivers are ok but they were hurt and still, their leading receiver is Pittman who in 3 games has 9 more receptions than any other receiver and three more than Hines who has been used more of a receiver when Taylor was in. The Colts have six touchdowns on the season, are 32nd in offense (last in the league) scoring a pathetic 14.3 a game and are pretty much out of the top 10 in every offensive category. This team was shut out by the Jaguars enough said.
We thought the Colts were bad, it doesn't get much better with the Broncos. Big move alert they get Russell Wilson the best Quarterback since Peyton Manning have had but has that helped the offense? They are 30th out of 32 in terms of scoring, averaging 16.5 points a game. They are 18th in rushing and passing so at least consistent but these are not #'s that win games. The Broncos are 2-2 but they are the luckiest 2-2 team as they could have easily lost and should have lost to SF and barely beat Houston by a touchdown in a game where their only touchdown wasn't until the fourth quarter.
Denver, like the Colts, lost Javonte Willaims their leading rusher and their second-best receiver as well. They have Melvin Gordon who has fumble issues and his career has gone downhill ever since he came to Denver but they also have Boone, Lindsey, and just signed Murray off the Saints.
This will be a committee tonight with each getting their shot and the hot hand getting more (we feel Boone might be the guy since he doesn't fumble). Both teams' offenses stunk with their best players so they can only get worse without them, and these teams are built on defense with the Colts giving up 21 a game and the Broncos even better giving up 17 a game for 6th in the league. two top defenses, and two awful offenses missing their best players there is only one thing to do. We expect the kickers to be the stars that being the punters and the field goal kickers.
Let's take under 43-120 at FanDuel as we buy the hook to get an even number which is always smart even if we don't see more than 38 points tonight. Like we saw Monday night in San Francisco, this is a game where if someone gets to 21, it will be a win for the offenses. Under is the way to go enjoy this game but if it gets ugly remember you have preseason NBA on ESPNÂ if you enjoy offense.
