The Cincinnati Bengals and New Orleans Saints come into Week 6 at 2-3 on the season. Both teams will get the opportunity to even out their record.

The Bengals are coming off a close 19-17 loss to the Baltimore Ravens to send them below a .500 record. The Saints are coming off a 39-32 win over the Seattle Seahawks to avoid going down to 1-4 on the season.

With both teams looking to even out their record, the Bengals come into the matchup as 2.5-point favorites. Joe Burrow will have a chance to put up plenty of points on a team that allows 25.6 points per game on the season and 32 points in their most recent matchup. If they want to turn their season around and get momentum, this might be their best chance.

The Saints ended their three-game losing streak with their win last week and will now have the chance to prove that they’re not a bottom-feeder team this season. They haven’t failed to score 20 points in any game this season and will make the Bengals earn their win.

Saints vs. Bengals Predictions

Joe Burrow to score 2 touchdowns (+9000)

With only nine passing touchdowns on the season, Burrow doesn’t quite average two touchdowns per game, but he’s close. The Bengals are coming off a game where they only scored 17 points, and he’s got potential for a big game as the Saints have allowed plenty of points through five games. Burrow also has proven in his career that he can string together plenty of touchdowns in a game.

Ja’Marr Chase over 80.5 receiving yards (-115)

If Burrow is going to string together a big game against the Saints defense, Chase will most definitely be a part of a big game. He’s also proven to put together big games with Burrow, and with the potential for that against the Saints defense, he could easily put together a solid game.

Joe Mixon under 65.5 rushing yards (-125)

Mixon hasn’t had the most impressive season, which hasn’t been normal for him. He would’ve hit the over on this prop in only two games this season, and the Bengals offense would be able to string together a big game with plenty of points without incredible production from Mixon. If the Bengals feel better off with big passing plays over short-yardage runs, they’ll lean into that.
