Los Angeles Chargers vs. Denver Broncos Prediction
Who is in love with the Denver Broncos? It must be the fact that they have that Walmart money backing them because we have seen way too many Broncos games on prime time and we have a London game upcoming as well. This game should see a little more offense than the usual Broncos games but this is a team dead last in the NFL averaging 15 points a game. Their coaching has been awful, they have injuries too long to list here and their prize QB hasn't been himself all year.
The Chargers aren't much better as they have an injury list a mile long and they have not lived up to the expectations either as they are 3-2 but should be 2-3 as the Browns missed a game-winning field goal after more questionable coaching decisions by the Chargers. Tonight who will live up to expectations, and who will make the coaching mistakes that will cost them the game? We aren't worried about it as we have found a prop that we feel should win for you and you won't have to sweat the game out.
Austin Ekeler is a great running back and a great receiver, we all love him for fantasy and what he did last week we love him even more and hope he can do it every week. Sadly, he can't get you 173 yards rushing and a touchdown and 26 yards receiving and a touchdown every week. So you might be asking yourself if a guy just got 199 yards and two touchdowns why are we going to go under on his prop tonight?
Well, first off we are going to go under 101 total yards and not pick will he rush more or receive more yardage because we are actually getting five extra yards with the combo versus the pick-and-choose part so that's a bonus right there. Now let's delve more into the Chargers' running game.
Last week they had 238 yards rushing but you want to add the previous four weeks and they barely got more than 238 all year before last week. The Chargers had 81, 26, 75, and 76 yards rushing in the previous four games. That's pretty sad and they want Ekeler to get 61 tonight for the over.
Well, he has only done that once if you take away last week he is only averaging 35 yards rushing a game (he had a five-yard game as well this year). That's how bad the Chargers' run game has been as they are 20 spots lower rushing than passing this season (22 versus 2).
They have a very good backup running back in Joshua Kelly and they signed Sony Michel so there are other options, We expect to see more of Ekeler 35 yards game than a 173-yard game tonight. (Cleveland's defense has given up 30 or more points three times already and a few 200-yard running games so not an impressive defense at all.)
If you ask us who are the best units on the field it's the Broncos' defense and the Chargers' offense, but the Chargers are a passing team and the Broncos are the No. 2 defense against the pass. We already know the Chargers don't run the ball and if they do it's not just Ekeler but if they pass against the No. 2 defense giving up 177 yards a game it's not going to be all Ekeler is it?
We look at his receiving and there is a consistency to his receiving as we see he has caught between four and nine receptions a game but he is averaging less than seven yards a catch. If you do the math that's 28- 63 yards and when he caught the nine he didn't get 63 yards that day. Ekeler is averaging almost 43 yards receiving a game so if you combine his two averages you get 78 yards and we have a total of 101 yards tonight. We feel we are getting over 20 yards in value and that's enough for us to take the under tonight on Ekeler's total yards.
The Chargers also have Mike Williams who is a beast, a two-headed tight end in Everett and Palmer, and ten other guys who have caught a pass but sadly Keenan Allen is one and he is out tonight. If Denver can do what they have been on defense and play the game they want we should win this under easily unless Ekeler goes off like he did last week which we feel won't happen against this top defense.

These teams do play lower-scoring games in LA (eight out of the last nine) and if that continues it will help our cause as well. Ekeler is a great player but all we are asking is that he doesn't get 102 yards total tonight and he really hasn't all year except for last week.
We are confident that Austin Ekeler under 101.5 total rushing and receiving yards is a winner available at FanDuel or DraftKings. So let's watch and win this AFC west battle because this might actually be a good game as most of the Broncos games have been this year and the Chargers as well other than the one Jags blowout loss. Enjoy and if you're a fantasy guy a touchdown is worth more than yards so if he can't get you the yards root for the ATD tonight.
Los Angeles Chargers vs. Denver Broncos Player Prop Pick
