Cardinals vs. Saints Player Prop Pick

A.J. Green under 22.5 Receiving Yards -120 (Bet $120 to collect $183)

*Odds available at BetMGM at time of publishing*

I originally got this number at 24.5 earlier this morning, but the steam is moving it down. The best price is currently 22.5 on BetMGM or DraftKings, and I would play it to under 20.5.

Let's start out by talking about A.J. Green. I understand we all have those same memories of how he played in his prime, but we have to remember a lot of time has passed since then. AJ Green might legitimately be the least productive starting receiver in the NFL, and while I understand he plays mostly in the slot, I think we could even see Greg Dortch come back from the grave and steal some snaps. Let's take a look at his receiving yards this season - seven, 20, zero, 16, 13.

Beyond the sad receiving yards line, his longest reception this season is 10 yards, implying we would need a couple of catches to grab this. Not to mention those receiving yard lines are in games where he was actually involved, seeing 4+ targets in four of five games. Additionally Green sits at 0.38 yards per route run this season, putting him 144/150th with WRs with over 50th snaps. It's been a rough year of AJ Green, and the addition of Robbie Anderson isn't great for his season outlook. Anderson has only been here for a couple of days, but I expect him to steal away 15-20 snaps from Green.

3-Leg Cross-Sport Parlay

Leg 1: Clippers ML

Now that we got the nice under out of the way, let's have some fun. The Clippers are one of the most hyped teams coming into the season, even being tied for the NBA Finals favorite at +600 before the season started. They are one of the deepest teams in the NBA, and the re-emergence of superstar Kawhi Leonard feels like it's not being taken into account enough. The Lakers showed that they still had plenty of problems in game 1, they're going to have to show me something before I trust them.

Leg 2: Deandre Hopkins TD

Speaking of players making their return, let's talk about Deandre Hopkins. While I’m not sure he will immediately come in and dominate, he’s always been a great red zone target, sporting some of the best hands in the NFL. Marshon Lattimore is also out, meaning we should have an even better matchup.

Leg 3: Astros ML

Finally, the Astros, which is probably the riskiest leg. At the end of the day, Framber has made me a lot of money this season and I haven't seen enough consistency from Severino. Let's end this 3-leg parlay with a bang.

3-Leg Cross Sport Parlay @ +445 (Bet $100 to collect $545)

  • Clippers ML
  • Deandre Hopkins TD
  • Astros ML
