After falling to 2-4, the Cleveland Browns are faced with the tough task of playing against the Ravens in Baltimore. And, to make matters worse, they're touchdown underdogs.
They all but abandoned the run when they were getting blown out by the New England Patriots last week. And, it will be interesting to see if we get more of the same from Cleveland on the road this week. Either way, we know David Njoku will be plenty involved, so let's ride the hot hand with the Cleveland tight end for Week 7.
Baltimore Ravens vs. Cleveland Browns Prediction
David Njoku Over 38.5 Receiving Yards (-115) (Bet $115 to win $215)

David Njoku has been an absolute money-maker over the last month. Forget about putting up 40+ receiving yards on a weekly basis. Njoku has at least 58 yards in four straight games now, averaging 7.3 targets, 5.8 receptions, and 77.0 yards per game over these last four contests. And, he's clearly emerged as Jacoby Brissett's 2nd favorite target, behind only Amari Cooper.
Njoku has also become an every-down player for Cleveland in 2022, regardless of game script or matchup. He's played at least 80% of the offensive snaps in every single game, logging an 88% snap share on the season. This heavy usage has led to his breakout as an elite producer at a largely talent-less tight end position.
Here's where the 6th-year pro ranks among TEs in 2022:
- 6th in targets
- 5th in receptions
- 4th in receiving yards
He's trailing only Travis Kelce, Mark Andrews, and Dallas Goedert in the receiving yards department, putting him in some tremendous company. Now, Njoku and company face the Ravens, who have been quite generous to tight ends this season.
Let's take a look at what tight ends have done against Baltimore lately:
- Week 6: Daniel Bellinger - 5 receptions, 38 yards
- Week 5: Hayden Hurst - 6 receptions, 53 yards
- Week 4: Dawson Knox - 3 receptions, 40 yards
- Week 3: Jonnu Smith - 4 receptions, 25 yards
- Week 2: Mike Gesicki - 4 receptions, 41 yards
These numbers may not jump off the page. But, when we take into account that none of these guys average even 30 yards per game, Baltimore's TE defense looks a whole lot more vulnerable.
David Njoku is averaging 57.8 receiving yards per game in 2022, and he has a great opportunity to exceed that mark in Baltimore this Sunday.
