NFL Player Props Week 7: Top Anytime TD Scorer Bets for Early Games
Week 6 was another back and forth week as we just couldn't get over the hump. That's the name of the game though with anytime touchdown betting sometimes. The variance is extremely high in this market, and although the analysis is correct, our guy might just not find the end zone. Week 7 started off with a bang though for the touchdown train! Hitting Eno Benjamin (+150) and Juwan Johnson (+450). Let's keep things rolling right this Sunday! The anytime touchdown train is on the move again! Some of you might not of heard but it's a holiday this Sunday in National Tight Ends day! The fourth Sunday of October! You'll see where I'm going with this below!
This week I'm releasing my picks in two articles for the main Sunday games. There will be an article for the 1:00 pm ET slate of games (this one you're currently reading), and there is another article for the best anytime touchdown bets for the 4:00 pm ET slate of games.

Best Week 7 Anytime TD Bets
Dalton Schultz (+260) (Bet $100 to win $360)
The only way to celebrate National Tight End Day is by kicking us off with a tight end to score! Schultz has been a shell of himself so far this season. He's been dealing with a knee injury and Cooper Rush simply didn't look his way much. The good news for Schultz and the Cowboys is Dak is back in Week 7. In Week 1 Schultz has 9 targets! Since then he's had just 8 combined over three games! He has practiced fully this week. The Lions defense is bottom half in the NFL in catches, yards, and touchdowns allowed to tight ends. Schultz scored 5 times over the last seven weeks of the season in 2021 and he will finally begin to get things rolling here in Week 7 on National Tight End Day!
Michael Gallup (+190) (Bet $100 to win $290)
As a Giants fan, it disgusts me to be excited for the Cowboys but here I am! Firing up two Cowboys to find paydirt this week! The Cowboys are implied team total this week is the second highest on the slate, so I like backing to Cowboys here. It's likely Jeff Okudah lines up across from CeeDee Lamb meaning Amani Oruwariye will line up versus Gallup. Amani has been awful so far in 2022 ranking 106th of 107 cornerbacks according to PFF! The Lions have the worst third down defense and have allowed the fifth highest average depth of target. As a starter, Gallup averages 8.5 targets with Dak! Giddy up! Let's cash Gallup this week!
Tee Higgins (+130) (Bet $100 to win $230)
I think this entire Bengals offense is set up to explode this week. There's just no value on Ja'Marr Chase (-120), Mixon (-120), even Tee Higgins at (+130) isn't the greatest but I'll explain why I love it. The Bengals are going to score at least three touchdowns this Sunday and I love taking Higgins at better than even-money. The Falcons have allowed the second most catches and tied for the second most scores to wide receivers so far. They've been tormented by receivers as Casey Hayward and AJ Terrell patrol the perimeter for Atlanta. Higgins and Chase are both un-guardable and I love them both to have huge games. We can see multiple Bengals get into the end zone against the Falcons defense that is without starting nickel Dee Alford and the aforementioned Casey Hayward has been placed on IR. The Bengals passing game is set to explode here this week as the Falcons have allowed the second most passing yards and the second highest completion rate. Atlanta also has a non existent pass rush meaning more time for Burrow and the boys. The Bengals offense is going to have some fun this week, and I want a piece of it!
Evan Engram (+275) (Bet $100 to win $375)
We went to Engram last week and I love seeing the growth he's shown with Trevor Lawrence so I'm comfortable going back there again in Week 7. Not only is he a tight end on tight end day but he also plays his former team the Giants. Although he has yet to score he is a top ten tight end in percentage of his teams targets, receptions, and yards. He has at least one end zone target in three of the last four games and there's only four other tight ends with these numbers; Zach Ertz, Travis Kelce, Mark Andrews, and George Kittle. I'd say Engram is due. He has 16 targets over the last two weeks and as a giants fan I know Engram can beat man coverage. The Giants deploy man coverage among the third most in the NFL so far and Trevor Lawrence has actually been an elite thrower when facing man. Fire up Evan Engram in a revenge game.
Mike Evans (+110) (Bet $100 to win $210) - *BANKER* - 2 Units
Before you freak out on me for putting 2 units back on Mike Evans after the dud he and the Bucs posted against a bad Steeler secondary, let me explain. The squeaky wheel narrative is strong as the coaching staff has said they need to get the ball in Evans hands more this week. The Panthers best corner Donte Jackson is 5-foot-10 and on the other side is CJ Henderson who Evans went for 6 catches 89 yards and 2 scores last time they faced off. The Panthers have allowed a league-high 55.6% of passes into the end zone to be completed. The NFL average is 32.1%. Since Tom Brady joined the Buccaneers back in 2022, Evans has never gone three straight games without scoring a touchdown! So call me what you want, call me on my sidekick, I never answer when it's private! Mike Evans is scoring a touchdown this Sunday!
Michael Pittman Jr. (+210) (Bet $100 to win $310)
The reason Pittman didn't cash the last time we backed him was because we didn't have Junior added to his name. I've now fixed that mistake and he will reward us by scoring this Sunday against a terrible Titans secondary. The last time these two faced off Pittman missed scoring on two separate occasions. The first time by a couple of toes and the second by a heel. This week he will manage to land both of his entire cleats in the painted area. The Titans secondary is awful as they've allowed the most yards and second most touchdown passes. Along with that, the Titans allow the highest yards per target in the NFL at 10.4! They have been torched on the perimeter as Kristian Fulton and Terrance Mitchell have struggled all season. Matt Ryan is second in the NFL in pass attempts and the Titans allow passing touchdowns at the highest rate in the NFL. These are quite generous odds we're being provided and I'm locked in.
Allen Lazard (+175) (Bet $100 to win $275)
*Odds Available at DraftKings*
If they want to keep giving us this price on Lazard we're going to just keep taking it. There's finally movement at some sportsbooks as BetMGM has Lazard all the way down to -125! So you can clearly see the value in this price at DK. Aaron Rodgers has been awful. there's no doubt. But if there was ever a secondary for him to get back on track against it's Washington's. The Commanders are tied for the second most touchdowns allowed to receivers and have allowed the fifth most yards. Lazard has scored in four of five games so far and in 11 out of his last 15! That's just absurd. This game projects to be the slowest of Week 7 so I'm not expecting a ton of plays but the Packers should have multiple scoring opportunities in this one. I also like Romeo Doubs in this one but he's not priced much higher at +190 so I'm opting for Rodgers favorite red zone weapon in a soft matchup!
