Broncos vs. Jets Prediction

The Broncos have been a huge disappointment this season. They come into this game with a record of 2-4, and really they could be 6-0 with a few better coaching decisions or better play from Russell Wilson. Their opponent today is the New York Jets, who are red hot and have been playing extremely well. The Jets have won 3 games in a row and are riding high, and now they get a matchup against Denver without their starting quarterback, so the Jets look easy, right? I am not so sure.

We see all the time when backups step up and fill in to help their teams win. Look at Cooper Rush in Dallas and what he has done over the past few seasons when Dak Prescott was hurt. Brett Rypien is the backup for Denver and will be the starter today. He has obviously played sparingly behind Wilson, but I believe he is capable of moving the ball to keep this game close. The Broncos have an elite defense and one of the best passing defenses in the league, and I expect Zach Wilson to turn the ball over multiple times today. Maybe all Denver needs to get going is a change of scenery. With that being said, I am rolling with the BRONCOS +2.5 at -107 for 1U as one of my most confident plays on the afternoon slate.
