San Francisco made a big splash in the trade market this week. The 49ers acquired versatile running back Christian McCaffrey from the Panthers to boost the offensive backfield. This is a big-time afternoon game in Week 7. This 49ers defense is also great. The Chiefs offense has some playmakers as well. This should be a very good game. One thing about this game is I believe in the 49ers defense, unlike the Chiefs defense. The 49ers have just as many playmakers as the Chiefs offense. With the addition of McCaffrey, this offense got that much more dangerous.

The biggest piece to the Chiefs is Travis Kelce, and I really expect Fred Warner to be spying on him all game long. The best Tight End in the league versus the best Middle Linebacker in the league. What a matchup that will be. The Chiefs offensive line really struggled last week at times versus the Bills. The 49ers defensive line is a couple of steps above that Bills defensive line.

Jimmy Garoppolo is a game manager for the 49ers. To be honest, I felt he is a better option if the 49ers want to win now versus Trey Lance. This 49ers team is also finally healthy in this matchup. Trent Williams is back for the Niners, and he is a huge piece to that offensive line. He is, in my opinion, the best Left Tackle in the NFL. This 49ers team is set up to win now, and they will definitely have the crowd behind them in this huge game versus the Chiefs.

So, in this game, look for the 49ers to establish the run game early. They will try to get McCaffrey and Wilson going early, and that will open the passing game. The receivers for the Chiefs struggled last week getting open versus a banged-up Buffalo secondary. The 49ers come into this matchup the healthiest they have been this season.

This 49ers team is going to be looking for payback after losing in Atlanta last week. This is a big game, with both of these teams coming off losses. Nick Bosa and Jimmie Ward are also active in this game. This team is healthy and going to really want to put a statement in the primetime 4 PM spot. Look for the 49ers to build a lead early and for the Chiefs to come back late. The 49ers really need this game, and I expect them to win.
