SNF Dolphins vs. Steelers Best Anytime TD Scorer Picks

Jaylen Waddle (+140) (Bet $100 to win $240)

*Odds Available at FanDuel*

Last week, the Steelers fooled me. I admit it. They were without Cam Sutton, Ahkello Witherspoon, Levi Wallace, and Minkah Fitzpatrick. This week, they get Sutton, Minkah, and Wallace back. The Steelers have been trounced on the outside, allowing the most yards and tied for the most touchdowns to wide receivers. The replacements did a stand-up job last week holding the Buccaneers in check, but with Tua returning to action, the Miami offense is set up again. Waddle scored in 2 of the first three games with Tua under center. The Dolphins were sixth in the NFL in pass play rate during the first two weeks, which Tua played in entirely. Waddle and Hill are a dynamic duo that runs plenty of crossers, screens, and skinnies. While Tyreek Hill and his bead maze route tree should also have a good night, there's minimal value in Hill priced at -115. If you don't know what a bead maze is, look it up. It carries plenty of nostalgia. Let's cash Waddle tonight and watch the best touchdown dance the NFL has ever seen.

Diontae Johnson (+220) (Bet $100 to win $320)

*Odds Available at Bet365*

The Dolphins pass defense has been terrible all season long. Miami has allowed multiple touchdown passes in four of their six games. I expect Miami to get ahead, and once again, the Steelers will often be throwing. So game script fits here for the Steelers pass catchers. The Dolphins have allowed the tenth most yards and tied for the fourth-most scores allowed to wide receivers. Miami's secondary is also battered with injuries missing Nik Needham and Byron Jones. Xavien Howard is back and will likely shadow Diontahe Johnson, but he isn't back into the All-Pro form we're used to. In Pickett's first NFL start, Johnson led the Steelers with 13 targets. Johnson is an elite receiver and an incredible route runner. I'm comfortable with these two stud wide receivers as our only two plays for Sunday Night Football.
