Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Baltimore Ravens Prediction, Player Prop: Can Rookie Cade Otton Shine on TNF?
Although the Tampa Bay Buccaneers have looked like a mess lately, they'll be part of the best Thursday Night Football game we've had this season. The Bucs are hosting the Baltimore Ravens this evening, and tonight's game could be a major breakout performance for a Tampa rookie.
Tight end Cade Otton will have to step up for the 3-4 Buccaneers tonight. Starting tight end Cameron Brate has already been ruled out, which will open up plenty of targets and opportunities for the rookie in a primetime showdown tonight.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Baltimore Ravens Prediction, Player Prop Pick
Cade Otton Over 32.5 Receiving Yards -110. Bet $100 to collect $190. Best odds available at FanDuel (click here)
Cade Otton has already seen tremendous success in two games without Cameron Brate thus far. Brate was inactive last week and in Week 5's win over the Atlanta Falcons. Here's how Otton fared in these two contests:
- Week 5 vs. ATL: 7 targets, 6 receptions, 43 yards
- Week 7 @ CAR: 5 targets, 4 receptions, 64 yards
Otton played 87.5% of Tampa Bay's snaps in his two starts. And, he ran a route on 78.2% of Tom Brady's dropbacks in these games. This is a stark contrast to his usage when sharing the field with Cameron Brate, where he averaged a 55% snap share and just a 34.6% route participation rate.
The fourth-round rookie pass-catcher sees his usage double in Brate's absence, and he'll have a fantastic opportunity to make some noise tonight.
Baltimore's defense has been particularly vulnerable to the tight end position, as they've conceded plenty of productive stat lines to the position in recent weeks. Including David Njoku's dominant performance on Sunday, here's what TEs have done against the Ravens in the last month:
- Week 7: David Njoku - 7 receptions, 71 yards
- Week 6: Daniel Bellinger - 5 receptions, 38 yards
- Week 5: Hayden Hurst - 6 receptions, 53 yards
- Week 4: Dawson Knox - 3 receptions, 40 yards
A five-catch, 50-yard performance could undoubtedly be in the cards this evening. And, an absolute dud seems out of the range of possibilities for the rookie on TNF.
