Dallas Cowboys vs. Chicago Bears Prediction
The Bears have had a very up-and-down season, but overall, if you had said in the pre-season that they would be 3-4 through 7 games, I think every fan, analyst, or watcher of the NFL would be surprised and somewhat impressed.
Last week against New England, the Bears moved the ball easily and had no trouble scoring on the Patriots defense. This was likely the best game of Field’s career, as he threw for 180 yards and ran for 80 yards while accounting for 2 touchdowns. They really could have scored 40, as the game ended on the goal line before the Bears called off the dogs.
However, things will be a bit different today, as Fields has to take on the Cowboys defense, which has been one of the best defensive units in the league this season. Dallas has only allowed one team to score more than 20 points against them this season, and that came against the Eagles, who many consider to be the best team in the league.
The Cowboys defensive unit is led by Micah Parsons, who is quickly becoming the best and most imposing defensive player in the league. He is an excellent pass rusher, and his lateral quickness is tremendous, as he is a great sideline-to-sideline defender on running plays. I simply do not see the Bears having the same offensive success as they did last week, so with that being said, I am rolling with BEARS TT UNDER 16.5 at -120 for 1.5u as my most confident NFL pick on the early slate.
