All Heinicke did in his first start of the season was go out and beat Aaron Rodgers and the Packers as 4 point underdogs. Heinicke led the offense very effectively and threw for 200 yards and 2 touchdowns against a solid packers defense. Another interesting thing about each of these teams is that both of them have been dreadful in the 1H of games this season.
Washington has only led at the half in 1 game this season against the Bears (score of 3-0) and Indianapolis has yet to lead at the half through 7 games. I do think Sam Ehlinger and the Colts should have some growing pains and I do not expect them to move the ball with ease.
Taylor Heinicke has a bit more continuity with the Commander’s offense as he played most of last season and I expect him to have another solid game today.
