The Cowboys come into play feeling pretty good about themselves after a dominant win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Cowboys had an impressive season, but they came into the playoffs as the number five seed due to a stellar season from the Philadelphia Eagles. Dallas is a dangerous bunch, and playing with this type of confidence; San Francisco knows that they will have their hands full.
The 49ers trailed the Seahawks in the first half on Saturday afternoon in their Wild Card matchup, but they handled their business in the second half and went on to a blowout win of their own. The 49ers have the best defense in the NFL, and on the flip side of the field, they have a quarterback who is still yet to lose an NFL game. Pair that with one of the best rushing attacks in football, and you can understand why the 49ers are playing with an opportunity to go to the Conference Championship. I will be backing the 49ers here on the spread. I understand that many people will love Dallas with the points after the kind of performance they displayed on Monday night, but this 49ers team is a completely different type of unit. San Francisco should be able to get a lot of pressure on Prescott, and as we all know, they will limit the running game. I do not see Dallas having a lot of offensive success in this spot. Dak has struggled with turning the football over, and if he does that on Sunday night, this will be a long game for Dallas. On the other side of things, I expect San Fran to continue to do their thing offensively. They should have a great game plan and be ready for this Dallas defense. Let’s stay hot and cash in!Â
