49ers vs Cowboys Best Bet: Lock in This Expert's +1137 Same-Game Parlay for the Divisional Round

The Dallas Cowboys and San Francisco 49ers collide tonight in California to see which team will advance to face the Philadelphia Eagles, who just got done steamrolling the New York Giants.

Can Brock Purdy keep the miracle run going, one which saw him go from the Mr. Irrelevant to going 6-0 as a starter with Niners? He’s got playmakers all around and a defense that can shut down the run. The Cowboys have had an up-and-down season, but have all the pieces needed to beat the favored Niners. Let’s put together a same-game parlay for this one. Built this over at FanDuel and the odds come out to +1137.

San Francisco 49ers vs. Dallas Cowboys Prediction

Christian McCaffrey over 67.5 rushing yards

Not going to overcomplicate this, as McCaffrey looks fully healthy, and posted a 15/119 rushing yard line last week against Seattle, adding two receptions for 15 yards and a touchdown. The Cowboys rank 22 in rushing yards allowed, so don’t let the big names fool you. The Niners will want to establish the run.

Tony Pollard over 18.5 receiving yards

Pollard is the better running back in Dallas, and no one can convince me otherwise. Problem is, the Niners are stout against the run, and Pollard is the running back who can help more in the passing game. He finished the final three games of the season covering this line, and I don’t see Zeke being effective on the ground.

Dak Prescott over 253.5 passing yards

The key to beating the San Francisco 49ers doesn’t go through the ground, it’s going to require plays to be made on the outside by these Cowboys' receivers. Prescott will be needed if the Cowboys want to pull off the upset, and I can’t back Ezekiel Elliott, who looked stuck in cement last week.

Brandon Aiyuk (SF) 40+ alternative receiving yards

Aiyuk has cleared this number in his last four games, and he’s actually cleared 50 receiving yards in each game. He is neck and neck with Deebo Samuel as the top receiver on the Niners, and he’s proven to have a more steady floor.

CeeDee Lamb 40+ receiving yards

Lamb has at least 52 receiving yards in his last five games (three of those were 100+ yard games, and I talked about the Cowboys and Dak needing to throw the ball to win).

San Francisco 49ers ML

I get that the Cowboys looked great last week, finally putting all the pieces together, but they did so against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, who only made the playoff because they play in the NFC South. I’m not saying the Seattle Seahawks are 100 times better, but they’re definitely better than the Bucs.
