Eagles vs. 49ers Prediction

AJ Brown 80+ Receiving Yards (+124) Bet $100 to collect $224. FanDuel has the best odds, click here

We're at FanDuel for this banger, but if you're looking for a standard line, I would go to DraftKings. They've got 70.5 (-130), while FanDuel shows 73.5 (-114). I know it's only three yards, and this guy is going 100+, but still. We have to be responsible and get the right number. It should also be noted that if you're taking a ladder and 80+ isn't big enough for you, then you could go 90+ (+164), 100+ (+230), 110+ (+350), or even 125+ (+550). Keep in mind nobody ever became great by not hanging their balls out there.

AJ Brown is a physical specimen that looks like he was made in a lab. The man is 6'1" tall, 226 pounds (all muscle), and can outrun a gazelle (probably). The haters will say that he doesn't get used enough in this offense to hit this number, but as usual, they are wrong. Real wrong. Over his last seven games, he's gone over this number five times. If he's not used enough to get over this number, how is he getting over this number? That's a fair question.

I think the haters are suffering from recency bias, as Brown only had 22 receiving yards last week. That can be explained, though. The Eagles didn't need him. They were playing the New York Giants. Just run the ball and you're good. Everyone knows that. Throwing to Brown against the Giants would be like taking your Ferrari to the grocery store. Use the minivan for that run. No need to bring out heavy artillery for that type of trip. Save it for when it's needed. Smart move by the Eagles.

This week, Philadelphia will need all the AJ Brown they get because the San Francisco 49ers are in town. The Niners are far from the Giants. For starters, you can't run on San Francisco. Nobody can. They gave up the fewest rushing yards to running backs this season. But what you can do is throw on them, especially to No. 1 receivers. CeeDee Lamb, DK Metcalf, and Davante Adams all torched these guys in January. We're talking 100+ each. This could be the greatest bet of all time.
