Eagles vs. 49ers NFC Championship Same-Game Parlay: Trust Jalen Hurts With This (+814) Parlay

After a couple of weeks of great playoff matches, there are only four teams remaining. Luckily for us, it truly does seem like one of those situations where the four best teams are left. In this article, I'll be talking about one of my favorite same-game parlays, and why I think we caught some good value.

Eagles vs. 49ers NFC Championship Same-Game Parlay Breakdown

This parlay is depending on a spike-rushing game from Jalen Hurts, and I like the odds of that playing out. Jalen Hurts has an insanely impressive 13 rushing touchdowns this season, despite missing two games recently, and scored against the New York Giants in their first playoff game. There are so many different ways for Hurts to get in the endzone, whether it's a scramble from a broken play, a designed run or a quarterback sneak at the goal line. There aren't many teams that have shown that kind of aggression with their quarterback, but it's the playoffs, and quarterbacks are definitely more likely to put their bodies on the line.

Additionally, the 49ers have a great traditional run defense, but have struggled a little bit against mobile quarterbacks. The 49ers had not allowed a single running back to eclipse 60 rush yards all season long until Josh Jacobs had 69 in the last week of the season, I think Miles Sanders is in store for a tough matchup. The 49ers' linebackers are stellar, especially in coverage, but they are known for playing a little bit deeper, which opens up some easy underneath rushing opportunities.

Finally, let's talk about Christian McCaffery, who I think we are getting a good price on here. While he was held in check last week against the Cowboys, I think this is a good bounce-back spot. The Eagles have a phenomenal secondary, which is going to put Brock Purdy in an uncomfortable situation, I think he’s going to be forced to use his check down a lot more. While he was a bit banged up last week, he still did come in for passing downs, and now Elijah Mitchell hasn't practiced all week. I’m not convinced he’s 100%, but I think he’s going to need to gut it out this week.
