The Kansas City Chiefs and the Philadelphia Eagles will clash from State Farm Stadium in Arizona for the Super Bowl. It is official. These are the last two teams standing, and we are set up for a heck of a matchup. The Eagles are yet to be tested as they enter this game fresh off a pair of blowout wins. Kansas City had the more difficult path as they won a close game over the Jags, followed up by a nail-biter versus the Bengals. Let's get into my early prediction and pick for Super Bowl LVII.

We all just saw what happened in the AFC Championship because the game literally just ended. The Bengals had an opportunity late to drive down and get into field goal range, but the Chiefs defense came up with a big-time stop and gave the ball back to Patrick Mahomes. Even though Mahomes played this game with an injured right ankle, 40 seconds was too long. Mahomes drove the Chiefs down the field and set up Harrison Butker for a game-winning field goal. Mahomes got some help from the Cincy defense as they committed a personal foul, hitting Mahomes late to make the field goal try much easier.

The Chiefs lost some key players in this game due to injury. JuJu Smith-Schuster, Mecole Hardman, and Kadarius Toney were all injured in the game. There are two weeks until the Super Bowl, so a lot can happen between now and the game, but it is something worth keeping your eye on.

There are a lot of storylines in this game. A feel-good story to start with is the fact that both Kelce brothers will be playing head-to-head in a Super Bowl. They are both headed to Canton the way their careers have gone, and one of the two will add a second ring to their finger soon. Another storyline is Andy Reid, who is the Eagle's all-time leader in wins with 130. Reid led the Birds to a Super Bowl in 2004 but never won a ring in Philly. The line has continued to move, and as I write this article, the Eagles are a two-point favorite. 

How can I not take Philly one last time? All season long, people have doubted this Eagles team, and even though they are in the Super Bowl, the doubts continue. I understand they did not have the hardest path, but they just put up 31 points on the best defense in football. In this kind of game, I think to myself, who can get more stops, I believe Philly has a significant advantage on the defensive side of the football, and they come into this game as the much healthier team. Yes, the Chiefs will have some time to rest up, but the issues at wide receiver could be a big deal in this game. I believe this line continues to move in the direction of Philly, and I want to lock it in before it does. Let’s stay hot and cash in!
